Guangzhounan railway station is located in Shibi, Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, China. It is a large modern rail terminal 17 kilometres (11 mi) south of central Guangzhou. For a brief time it was Asia's largest railway station by area when it officially started operation in early 2010.
Line 7 of the Guangzhou Metro is a rapid transit line in Guangzhou and Foshan, Guangdong Province, China. It is envisioned as tangential line that runs across southeast Guangzhou and Foshan, allowing for orbital traffic between the suburbs of Shunde, Panyu and Huangpu to avoid the crowded stations in the city center. Public bus service in Beijing is among the most extensive, widely used and affordable form of public transportation in urban and suburban districts of the city. In 2015, the entire network consisted of 876 routes with a fleet of 24,347 buses and trolleybuses carried 3.98 billion passengers annually. Trolleybuses run on over 31 routes including 6, 38, 42, 65, 101-112, 114-118, 124, 128, 301, BRT 1-3. Many of these trolleybus routes are located inside the Third Ring Road but some, such as 301 and BRT 1-3, do extend as far out as the Fifth Ring Road. Since 2013, In an effort to reduce urban air pollution, Beijing has been converting regular bus routes to trolleybus routes by installing overhead power lines on several corridors. Public bus service in the city began in 1921. Today there are two operators. The city's primary public bus operator, the state-owned Beijing Public Transport Holdings, Ltd. operates the Bus Service.
Sanyi or Nanpanshun, also known by Cantonese romanizations such as Sam Yup and Nam Pun Shun, refers to the three districts of Nanhai, Panyu and Shunde surrounding Guangzhou and Foshan in Guangdong, China.
The Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region Intercity Railway System is a regional higher-speed rail and suburban rail network being gradually constructed in the Pearl River Delta, People's Republic of China. The project's goal is to have every major urban center in the Greater Bay Area to be within one-hour travel by rail to Guangzhou. On March 16, 2005, the State Council approved plans for a regional high-speed commuter rail network for the Jingjinji, Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta. According to the plan, by 2020, the network will have a total route mileage of about 600 kilometres (370 mi). In September 2009, the plan was expanded to 1,478 km (918 mi) of routes split up into 23 lines. In the long term vision network length will reach 1,890 km (1,170 mi) by 2030. By then the network will provide basic coverage to the Pearl River Delta region. The Suishen ICR, Guanhui ICR and Guangfozhao ICR accept Alipay, avoiding the need to purchase tickets in advance.
Guangzhou Tram is the tram system in Guangzhou, Guangdong province, China. It is operated by Guangzhou Tram Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Guangzhou Metro Corporation.
Guangzhou–Shenzhen intercity railway or Suishen intercity railway is a commuter railway in the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong, China. The construction route traces roughly along the east bank of the Pearl River, connecting Guangzhou, Dongguan and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. It will feature a length of 73.996 km (45.979 mi) from Xintang South to Shenzhen Airport, operating at a top speed of 140 km/h (87 mph) using CRH6A trains.
Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway, also known as the Guangfo ring intercity railway, is a regional rail in the Pearl River Delta Metropolitan Region intercity railway system. The line will form a ring around Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. The first section between Guangzhou South to Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport started construction in 2016. The line will operate with China Railway CRH6 EMUs running every 2.5 minutes.
Shenzhen has an extensive transport network, including various forms of land, water and air transport.
Line 18 of the Guangzhou Metro is a rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to 160 km/h (99 mph). It will run in a south-north direction, connecting Wanqingsha in Nansha District, Panyu Square in Panyu District, Modiesha in Haizhu District, Zhujiang New Town and Guangzhou East Railway Station in Tianhe District. The line commenced service on 28 September 2021.
Line 22 of the Guangzhou Metro is a partially open rapid transit express line in Guangzhou with trains operating up to 160 km/h (99 mph). It runs between Panyu Square and Chentougang, passing Guangzhou South Railway Station in Panyu District, and will eventually run in a north-south direction passing Xilang and Fangcun in Liwan District. Currently, there are train attendants on board each train. In the future, trains will operate fully driverless GoA4 mode when sufficient reliability from the signaling system has been confirmed.
Panyu railway station is a railway station currently under construction in Panyu District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. It is scheduled to open with the Southern section of Guangzhou–Foshan circular intercity railway. It is situated underneath the existing Guangzhou South railway station, allowing for transfer between the two.
