Ampyrone is a metabolite of aminopyrine with analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. While the parent drug, aminopyrine, has been discouraged due to the risk of agranulocytosis, ampyrone itself has significantly lower toxicity. It is used as a reagent for biochemical reactions producing peroxides or phenols. Ampyrone stimulates liver microsomes and is also used to measure extracellular water.
Potassium fumarate is a compound with formula K2C4H2O4. It is the potassium salt of fumaric acid.
Disodium citrate, also known as disodium hydrogen citrate, (Neo-Alkacitron) and sesquihydrate, is an acid salt of citric acid with the chemical formula Na2C6H6O7. It is used as an antioxidant in food and to improve the effects of other antioxidants. It is also used as an acidity regulator and sequestrant. Typical products include gelatin, jam, sweets, ice cream, carbonated beverages, milk powder, wine, and processed cheeses.
1,3-Thiazepine is a thiazepine, which is a seven-membered heterocyclic chemical compound containing nitrogen and carbon.
Arsthinol (INN) is an antiprotozoal agent. It was synthesized for the first time in 1949 by Ernst A.H. Friedheim by complexation of acetarsol with 2,3-dimercaptopropanol and has been demonstrated to be effective against amoebiasis and yaws. It was marketed a few years later by Endo Products.
2-Heptanol is a chemical compound which is an isomer of heptanol. It is a secondary alcohol with the hydroxyl on the second carbon of the straight seven-carbon chain. The compound is flammable and irritant, and through inhalation, ingestion or though skin it can enter into the body.
The bromoanilines form a group of three isomers where the bromine atom occupies the para, ortho or meta position on the aromatic ring.
Demeton, sold as an amber oily liquid with a sulphur like odour under the name Systox, is an organophosphate derivative causing irritability and shortness of breath to individuals repeatedly exposed. It was used as a phosphorothioate insecticide and acaricide and has the chemical formula C8H19O3PS2. Although it was previously used as an insecticide, it is now largely obsolete due to its relatively high toxicity to humans. Demeton consists of two components, demeton-S and demeton-O in a ratio of approximately 2:1 respectively. The chemical structure of demeton is closely related to military nerve agents such as VX and a derivative with one of the ethoxy groups replaced by methyl was investigated by both the US and Soviet chemical-weapons programs under the names V-sub x and GD-7.
In chemistry, methanetetracarboxylate is a tetravalent anion with formula C5O4−8 or C(−CO−2)4. It has four carboxylate groups attached to a central carbon atom; so it has the same carbon backbone as neopentane. It is an oxocarbon anion, that is, consists only of carbon and oxygen.
Benzoquinonetetracarboxylic dianhydride is an organic compound with formula C
10O
8 which can be seen as the result of removing two molecules of water H
2O from benzoquinonetetracarboxylic acid.
Dibutyltin dilaurate is an organotin compound with the formula (CH310CO2)2Sn(CH2CH2CH2CH3)2. It is a colorless viscous and oily liquid. It is used as a catalyst.
3,3-Dimethylhexane is a colourless, odourless liquid, chemical compound in the family of hydrocarbons which has a formula of C8H18. It is an isomer of octane, where two methylene hydrogens at the third position in a hexane molecule have been replaced with two methyl groups.
Phenyl glycidyl ether, is a liquid aromatic organic chemical in the glycidyl ether class of compounds. It has the formula C9H10O2. It has the CAS Registry Number 122-60-1 and the IUPAC name of 2-(phenoxymethyl)oxirane. A key use is in the viscosity reduction of epoxy resin systems. It is REACH registered and on EINECS under the name 2,3-epoxypropyl phenyl ether.
Diglycidyl aniline is an aromatic organic chemical in the glycidyl compound family. It is used to reduce the viscosity of epoxy resin systems. It has the empirical formula C12H15NO2 and the IUPAC name is N,N-bis(oxiran-2-ylmethyl)aniline. The CAS number is 2095-06-9. It is REACH registered in Europe with the EC number 218-259-5. A key use is in the viscosity reduction of epoxy resin systems functioning as a reactive diluent.
Fluoroethane is a hydrofluorocarbon with the chemical formula C2H5F). It is a volatile derivative of ethane. It appears as a colourless, odorless flammable gas at room temperature. Fluoroethane can also cause asphyxiation by the displacement of oxygen in air.
1,3-Bis(3-(dimethylamino)propyl)urea is an aliphatic organic chemical principally used as a curing agent in epoxy chemistry and a blowing agent in the polyurethane foam industry. It has the formula C11H26N4O. It is on TSCA and also on EINECS and thus by definition, REACH registered with a number of 257-861-2. The CAS number is 52338-87-1.
