The 2016 Liga Futebol Amadora is the first season of the Liga Futebol Amadora. The season began on 25 February 2016. The Primeira Divisão began on February 25 and finished on July 24, while the Segunda Divisão began on March 8 and was finished in the final match on June 28. All games are played at the Dili Municipal Stadium.

Liga-Futebol Timor Leste is the overall competition featuring football clubs from Timor Leste. The competition consists of two main divisions, the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão, however has previously featured a promotion playoff to the Segunda Divisão in 2017, and a third division in 2019. The league has previously featured associated women's competitions in the Liga Feto Timor.

The 2017 Liga Futebol Amadora is the second season of the Liga Futebol Amadora. The season began on 18 February 2017. The Primeira Divisão began on February 18 and finished on September 16, while the Segunda Divisão began on March 7 and was finished in the final match on September 22.

The 2017 Taça 12 de Novembro is the 5th staging of the Taça 12 de Novembro. The season began on 29 September 2017 and was finished in the final match on 28 October 2017.

The 2018 LFA Primeira is the third season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão. The season began on March 3 and originally finished on August 5, but rescheduled to be finished on July 29.

The 2018 LFA Segunda is the third season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Segunda Divisão. The season began on March 6 and finished on August 6.

The 2017 LFA Primeira is the second season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Primeira Divisão. The season began on February 18 and finished on September 16.

The 2017 LFA Segunda is the second season of the Liga Futebol Amadora Segunda Divisão. The season began on March 7 and was finished in the Final match on September 22.

The 2019 Taça 12 de Novembro is the 7th staging of the Taça 12 de Novembro, the football knockout tournament in East Timor.

The 2020 Copa FFTL was an association football competition in men's domestic Timor football. The tournament was organised by the East Timor Football Federation and was held during 2020 in response to the Liga Futebol Amadora league system being cancelled due to COVID-19. The tournament was contested by the 20 clubs from the Primeira Divisão and Segunda Divisão. The competition featured a multistage format, with the participating teams initially being divided into four groups of five teams, each team playing each other once. After the group stage the four group winners and the four group runners-up progressed to the quarterfinals of a knockout finals series to determine the winner. The tournament was won by Lalenok United, defeating AD Sport Laulara e Benfica in the final 2-1.

Liga Futebol Amadora Terceira Divisão is the third division of the Liga Futebol Amadora.

2019 Liga Futebol Amadora Terceira Divisão was the inaugural season of the third-highest division of the Liga Futebol Amadora, and third-highest overall in the Timorense football league system.

The 2020 edition of the Liga Futebol Amadora Terceira Divisão was canceled by the FFTL due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The FFTL decided to hold only two official competitions for the 2020 season, The 2020 Copa FFTL and Taça 12 de Novembro.
