The Basketball Super League, also known as the Türkiye Sigorta Basketbol Süper Ligi for sponsorship reasons, is the top men's professional basketball division of the Turkish basketball league system. It replaced the former Turkish Basketball Championship (1946–1967) to become the Turkish Basketball League (TBL) until 2015 when it adopted its current name while the TBL name became exclusive to the second-tier and third-tier divisions.

The TFF 3. Lig, currently referred to as Nesine 3. Lig for sponsorship reasons, is the fourth level in the Turkish football league system. It was founded in 2001–02 season as a continuation of then third level division Turkish Third Football League.

The Turkish Women's Handball Super League is the top professional league for Turkish women's handball clubs. It is administered by the Turkey Handball Federation, and the winners are recognized as Turkish champions. Established in the 1978–79 season as the Turkish Women's First League, it was renamed later to Super League. The current title holder is Muratpaşa Bld. SK (2011–12).

İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyespor is a multi-sports club established 1979 in İzmir, Turkey by the city's metropolitan municipality. The club's colors are blue and white. İzmir Büyükşehir Belediyespor is active in a total of 21 branches, including Paralympic and many Olympic sports. The men's handball team of the club plays in the Turkish Handball Super League, the women's team in the Turkish Women's Handball Super League and the wheelchair basketball team in the Turkish Wheelchair Basketball Super League successfully.

The 2013–14 TFF Third League is the 13th season of the league since its establishment in 2001 as the fourth level division; and the 43rd season of the third league in Turkish football since its establishment in 1967–68. The start date of the league is 1 September 2013 and end date is 13 May 2014.

The 2014–15 Turkish Cup is the 53rd season of the Turkish Cup. Ziraat Bankası is the sponsor of the tournament, thus the sponsored name is Ziraat Turkish Cup. The winners will earn a berth in the group stage of the 2015–16 UEFA Europa League, and also qualify for the 2015 Turkish Super Cup.
