Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni is a city in, and the capital of, Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni District of Mahshahr County, Khuzestan province, Iran. The city also serves as the administrative center for Bandar-e Emam Khomeyni Rural District.
Ayatollah Mohammad Mofatteh was an Iranian philosopher, theologian, and political activist, born in Famenin, Hamadan, Iran. After he finished his primary education in Hamadan, he left for the Islamic Seminary in Qom, where he was taught by reputable teachers such as Ayatollah Muhammad Hujjat Kuh-Kamari, Ayatollah Sayyed Hossein Tabatabei Borujerdi, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Mūsavi Khomeini, Ayatollah Mohammad-Reza Golpaygani, Ayatollah Marashi, and Allameh Tabatabie. He continued his studies at seminary and at the same time studied philosophy at Tehran University, where he earned his PhD and became a professor and a dean of colleague.
The Shia clergy are the religious leaders of Shia Islam. Shia Islam places great importance on the guidance of clergy, and each branch of Shi'ism maintains its own clerical structure. The most well-known Shia clergy belongs to the largest branch of Shia Islam, Twelver Shi'ism. As in other branches of Islam, Shia scholars are collectively known as the ulema. Individual clerics are referred to as mullah or ākhūnd, but because those terms have developed "a somewhat pejorative connotation" since at least the 1980s, the term rūḥānī has been "promoted" as an alternative, "especially by the clerical class itself".
Sayyid Mojtaba Mir-Lohi, more commonly known as Navvab Safavi, was an Iranian Shia cleric and founder of the Fada'iyan-e Islam group. He played a role in assassinations of Abdolhossein Hazhir, Haj Ali Razmara and Ahmad Kasravi. On 22 November 1955, after an unsuccessful attempt to assassinate Hosein Ala', Navvab Safavi and some of his followers were arrested. In January 1956, Safavi and three other members of Fada'iyan-e Islam were sentenced to death and executed.

Fadayan-e Islam is a Shia fundamentalist group in Iran with a strong activist political and terrorist orientation. The group was founded in 1946, and registered as a political party in 1989. It was founded by a theology student, Navvab Safavi. Safavi sought to purify Islam in Iran by ridding it of 'corrupting individuals' by means of carefully planned assassinations of certain leading intellectual and political figures.

Following the Iranian revolution, which overthrew the Shah of Iran, in February 1979, Iran was in a "revolutionary crisis mode" from this time until 1982 or 1983 when forces loyal to the revolution's leader, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, consolidated power. During this period, Iran's economy and the apparatus of government collapsed; its military and security forces were in disarray.
Tehran Metro Line 2, which opened between Sadeghieh and Imam Khomeini in February 2000, is 20.4 kilometers (12.7 mi) long, with 19 km (12 mi) as a subway and 1.4 kilometers (0.87 mi) elevated. Its headquarters are located at Tehran's Mehrabad International Airport and it has offices at all airports in Iran.
Hojatoleslam Seyyed Ali Akbar Aboutorabi Fard was an Iranian revolutionary. During the Iran–Iraq War, he assisted in the organization of an Iranian militia but was captured by Iraqi forces and spent 10 years in Iraqi prisons. Upon his release, he became the Supreme Leader's representative to Azadegan Affairs Headquarters and Tehran's representative in the 4th and 5th terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.
Seyyed Ali Shafiei is an Iranian Twelver Shia scholar, who is a member of Assembly of Experts from Khuzestan province. He is a/the son of Seyyed Mohammad Reza (Shafiei) who was from the known Islamic scholars of Khuzestan. Seyyed Ali Shafiei commenced his educations from Maktabkhaneh (Kuttab), and began to peruse Quran and Islamic issues. Afterwards, he entered a new school. Later on, he went to educate Hawzah lessons in the city of Ahwaz. Then, Seyyed-Ali departed to the Seminary of Najaf, in Iraq. After Najaf, he came back to Ahwaz; and was appointed as a/the Imam of Jama'ah in Ahwaz, and commenced to promote Islamic rulings.
