This is a list of hospitals in Saudi Arabia. There are a total of 504 hospitals as of 2020. 287 of these hospitals are under the direction of the Ministry of Health. Another 50 hospitals are run by other governmental organizations. The remaining 167 hospitals are privately operated. [1]
The estimated $1.4bn King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) is the third referral specialist medical city in the country after King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh and King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Dammam. The area of the KAMC is 800,000m². The accommodation capacity of the five-storey building is 1,500 beds, of which 500 have been allotted to the specialist referral hospital. Al Rajhi Holding Group, China State, Construction, El Seif and Saudi Binladin Group have all entered the prequalification stage. The scope of work includes a cardiac centre (150 beds), a centre for specialised surgery and organ transplantation (100 beds), and a centre for cancer treatment and surgical oncology (200 beds). Transport in Saudi Arabia is facilitated through a relatively young system of roads, railways and seaways. Most of the network started construction after the discovery of oil in the Eastern Province in 1952, with the notable exception of Highway 40, which was built to connect the capital Riyadh to the economically productive Eastern Province, and later to the Islamic holy city of Mecca and the port city of Jeddah. Khobar is a city and governorate in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, situated on the coast of the Persian Gulf. With a population of 409,549 as of 2022 in the city core and 658,550 in the governorate, Khobar is part of the 'Triplet Cities' area, or Dammam metropolitan area along with Dammam and Dhahran, forming the residential core of the region.

Rabigh is a city and governorate in the Province of Makkah of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, situated on the coast of the Red Sea, around 208 km (129 mi) northwest of Mecca in the historic Hejazi region. The city had an estimated population of 180,352 in 2014 and is situated at an elevation of 13 m (43 ft) above sea level, close to the border with the Madinah Province. The 2007–08 Al-Shabab FC season was the 60th season of competitive football played by Al Shabab KSA. The club ended the campaign third in the Saudi Premier League. Al-Shabab reached the semi-finals of the 2007–08 Saudi Crown Prince Cup and was knocked out by an own goal by Faisal Al Obeli. In the Federation Cup, the club also reached the semi-finals which end in a draw and lost the penalty kicks 5–4. The club won the 2008 King Cup of Champions.

The 2006–07 Saudi Premier League was the 31st Saudi Pro League season and the last to feature the Golden Four format. Al-Shabab were the defending champions, but they were eliminated by Al-Wehda in the first stage of the Golden Four. Al-Ittihad, who finished second with a 5-point difference from first place Al-Hilal, went on to win the league 2–1 in Riyadh. Hamad Al-Montashari's header gave Al-Ittihad their 7th league title in the 94th minute of the match.

The Dammam metropolitan area, or Greater Dammam, is the largest metropolitan area in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. It consists of "The Triplet Cities" of Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Qatif and their vicinities. It had a population of 2,742,800 as of the 2022 census. It is known for the arts, pearl culturing, entertainment and popular music and sports legacies. The area includes a variety of natural landscapes, parks, and beaches with a recreational coastline to the Persian Gulf. The Greater Dammam area is also known for being one of the cornerstones of the oil industry with the world's largest oil company and most valuable company, Saudi Aramco, being based in Dhahran, as a result of the first oil well being dug in the area.
Highway 40 is a major east–west six-lane controlled-access highway in Saudi Arabia, spanning 1,395 km. The highway connects Jeddah, the second-largest city in the kingdom, on the western coast of Saudi Arabia to Dammam, the sixth-largest city on the eastern coast and the largest in the Eastern Province. Apart from Jeddah and Dammam, Highway 40 also runs near or through Mecca, Ta'if, Riyadh, Abqaiq and Khobar along its length, and provides access to the Mahazat as-Sayd and Saja and Umm Al Ramth wildlife sanctuaries.
