Tribhuvan University is a public university located in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, Nepal. Established in 1959, TU is the oldest and the largest university in Nepal. It offers 1,000 undergraduate and 500 postgraduate programs across a wide range of disciplines. Additionally, the institution has 62 constituent campuses and over 1,080 affiliated colleges across the country.
The Nepal men's national cricket team represents Nepal in men's International cricket and is governed by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN). They have been a Associate Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 1996. Nepal were awarded Twenty20 International (T20I) status by the ICC in June 2014 until the 2015 ICC World Twenty20 Qualifier and earned One Day International (ODI) status in 2018.
The Multan Cricket Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Multan, Punjab, Pakistan, owned by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The stadium is located off Vehari Road, in the suburbs of Multan. It can host 35,000 spectators. The stadium hosted its first Test match in August 2001, when Pakistan faced Bangladesh in the 2001–02 Asian Test Championship.

Dipendra Singh Airee is a Nepalese cricketer. In August 2018, he was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first-ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands. During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China, Airee scored the fastest fifty in T20Is, off just 10 balls, against Mongolia. In April 2024, he became the only third player in T20Is to hit six consecutive sixes in an over, doing it against Qatar in the ACC Premier Cup. He is also dubbed as “The Tiger” for his aggressive batting skills.
Rubina Chhetry is a Nepali cricketer who plays for the women's national cricket team as a right-arm medium pace bowler. She is the former captain of the team appointed in 2012, when she replaced Neri Thapa. In 2009, she became the first cricketer to take a hat-trick for Nepal in an international match, and in 2019 she took Nepal's first hat-trick in a Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I).
The 2021 Everest Premier League, also known as EPL4 or Bajaj Pulsar EPL for sponsorship reasons, was the fourth edition of the Everest Premier League, a professional men's domestic Twenty20 cricket competition in Nepal. The event was initially scheduled for December 2019, before being postponed multiple times. Lalitpur Patriots were the defending champions, having won their first title in 2018, but were eliminated in the group stage after finishing fifth.
Cricket at the 2019 South Asian Games was held in Twenty20 format in Kirtipur and Pokhara, Nepal between 2 and 9 December 2019. Cricket returned to the South Asian Games after a period of nine years. The men's tournament featured under-23 squads from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka and senior squads from Bhutan, Maldives and Nepal. The participating teams were the hosts Nepal along with Malaysia and Papua New Guinea. The matches were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. On 12 March 2022, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed all the fixtures.
The Uganda women's cricket team toured Nepal in May 2022 to play five Twenty20 International (T20I) series. All of the matches in the series were played at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur. These were the first women's international matches played at Kirtipur. The series was used by Uganda as preparation for the 2022 Kwibuka Tournament.
The 2023 Nepal Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International cricket tournament, took place in October 2023 in Nepal. The participating teams were Nepal, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates. The tournament formed part of all the three teams' preparations for the Asia World Cup Qualifier.
