Punta Cana International Airport is a privately owned commercial airport in Punta Cana, eastern Dominican Republic. The airport was built with open-air terminals and roofs covered in palm fronds. It is owned by Grupo Punta Cana and became the first privately owned international airport in the world.

Cvent Holding Corp. is a Tysons Corner, Virginia–based company that provides software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for meetings, events, and hospitality management. Their web-based platform caters to in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, offering functionalities like online registration, venue selection, event management tools, and attendee engagement features. Cvent also provides software for hotels and venues to manage group bookings, including corporate travel, and source new group business. Previously a public company, Cvent was acquired by investment firm Blackstone Inc. for $4.6 billion in June 2023.

Twelve venues in twelve Brazilian cities were selected for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The cities also housed the 32 teams and fan-zones for spectators without tickets for the stations. Around 3 million tickets were put on sale of which most were sold out in a day. Eighteen locations were presented as potential host cities with the twelve successful candidates announced on 31 May 2009: Belém, Campo Grande, Florianópolis, Goiânia and Rio Branco were rejected, while Maceió had already withdrawn in January 2009.

The Big Boss World Tour was a concert tour by reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee to promote his album El Cartel: The Big Boss. This was his second arena tour in the United States and his first official world tour. The tour started on August 24, 2007, at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico and was expected to end on December 8, 2007, in Cali's Estadio Pascual Guerrero. However, due to the success of his soundtrack Talento de Barrio, more dates were added and the tour extended to 2008.

Entre Mar y Palmera Tour is the title of the world tour of Dominican superstar Juan Luis Guerra and 4:40 to promote his live album of the same title, his EP Prive and to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of his blockbuster album Bachata Rosa. The tour kicked off February 12, 2022, in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and is expected to end on July 13, 2024 in A Coruña, Spain.

Literal Tour Grandes Éxitos or simply Literal Tour is the world tour by the dominican artist Juan Luis Guerra to support his 14th studio album, Literal. The tour kick off on June 21, 2019 in Valencia, Spain and ended in Orlando, Florida on October 27, 2019. The tour visited seven cities in the United States. The tour was planned to continue in 2020, however, it was cancelled due the COVID-19 pandemic.
