The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) operates a network of intercity railways spanning 4,845.1 kilometers, covering 47 provinces across the country. SRT is committed to developing railway lands through its subsidiary, SRT Asset (SRTA), which focuses on transit-oriented development (TOD) initiatives. The Krung Thep Aphiwat Central Terminal in Bangkok serves as the primary transportation hub for rail transport in Thailand, connecting various types of rail transportation throughout the country. It covers an area of 274,192 square meters, making it the largest railway station in Southeast Asia, and is situated in a new central business district (CBD) that is currently being developed.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Chiang Mai Main Line</span> Railway line in Thailand

Chiang Mai Main Line is a main line of the Northern Line operated by State Railway of Thailand that connects between Hua Lamphong railway station in the central and Chiang Mai railway station in the north, passing through many provinces. It is the second longest railway line in Thailand, after Su-ngai Kolok Main Line. Notable services include the Nakhon Phing Express, the first class train serving the line. Many accidents have occurred on the line in recent years, prompting renovation work to commence on the track in late 2013, finally reopening on 2 December 2013.

Eastern Line is a railway line in Thailand, built and owned by State Railway of Thailand (SRT), located in Bangkok, Chachoengsao Province, Nakhon Nayok Province, Saraburi Province, Prachinburi Province, Sa Kaeo Province, Chonburi Province, and Rayong Province. It is the most important freight transport line in Thailand because there are many freight trains on the line. It was opened on 24 January 1907.

Nakhon Lampang railway station is a railway station in Sop Tui Subdistrict, Mueang Lampang District, Lampang Province. It is the main railway station for the province and is operated by the State Railway of Thailand (SRT). The station is on the Northern Line, 642 kilometres (398.9 mi) from Bangkok railway station. The station was built around 1915 and was open for use after the first royal train arrived at Lampang station on 1 April 1916.

Phatthalung railway station is a railway station located in Khuha Sawan Subdistrict, Phatthalung City, Phatthalung. it is a class 1 railway station, located 846.01 km (525.7 mi) from Thon Buri railway station. Phatthalung station opened in January 1913, as part of the Phatthalung-U Taphao Junction section of the Southern Line.

Suan Son Pradiphat railway station is a railway station located in Nong Kae Subdistrict, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan. It is located 221.03 km (137.3 mi) from Thon Buri Railway Station and serves Suan Son Pradiphat Beach with the nearby Rajabhakti Park. It initially opened as a railway halt. Suan Son Pradiphat became a staffed station on December, 11 2023, which began operation when the double tracking of the line section was completed.

Maruebo railway station is a railway station located in Maruebo Tok Subdistrict, Ra-ngae District, Narathiwat. It is a class 2 railway station located 1,089.467 km (677.0 mi) from Thon Buri railway station.

Pang Puai railway station is a railway station located in Na Sak Subdistrict, Mae Mo District, Lampang. It is located 591.079 km from Bangkok railway station and is a class 3 railway station. It is on the Northern Line of the State Railway of Thailand.

Ban Mai railway station is a railway station located in Wat Phrik Subdistrict, Phitsanulok City, Phitsanulok. It is located 375.313 km from Bangkok railway station and is a class 3 railway station. It is on the Northern Line of the State Railway of Thailand. The station opened on 24 January 1908 as part of the Northern Line extension from Pak Nam Pho to Phitsanulok.

Kapang railway halt is a railway halt in Thailand located in Tambon Khlong Pang, Amphoe Ratsada, northeast Trang province. It is one of the railway halts of the Southern Line and is located 776.33 km from Thon Buri railway station.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Wongwian Yai railway station</span> Railway station in Bangkok, Thailand

Wongwian Yai railway station is a railway station located in Bang Yi Ruea subdistrict, Thon Buri district, Bangkok. It is a class 1 railway station and is the Bangkok terminus of the Maeklong Railway Mahachai Line. Currently, 34 rail services operate at the station. It is located closer to Wongwian Yai roundabout and is in a different location to Wongwian Yai BTS station. Wongwian Yai is the main station used for rail passenger traffic from Samut Sakhon and Samut Songkhram provinces. It is the only railway station terminus with a single track in Thailand.
