They went to the crossing guard room five meters away from the operation site to eat popsicles. Liaoning, Fushun 11 October 1992285 Tianjin Jilin 40Dongfeng 4C diesel locomotives No. 4031 and 4045 in Meihekou locomotive depot are reconnected to draw a freight train to Shimenling railway station, ready to stop the 285 passenger train that will allow. As a corner cock of the train was closed, the train brake failed. In order to avoid train collision, the freight train derailed and overturned after entering the safety line of Shimenling station. The accident resulted in the death of four locomotive attendants, the suspension of driving for 10 hours and 25 minutes, and the scrapping of two locomotives, and no loss of 285 passenger train. [62]

The Chenzhou train collision occurred on June 29, 2009, at Chenzhou railway station in Chenzhou, Hunan province, China, when two passenger trains collided, leaving at least three people dead and 63 injured. The crash occurred at 02:34 local time, between express trains numbered K9017 and K9063. The investigation determined that the accident was caused by a worker failing to remove a dust plug on a brake line of a newly manufactured carriage, causing the K9017 train to lose braking power on most of its carriages when the dust plug blocked the air brake hose.

The Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway is an operational high-speed railway corridor, announced in 2008 as part of the "Four Verticals and Four Horizontals" master railway network plan. It is part of the CRH's system of passenger dedicated lines, connecting Beijing Chaoyang railway station in Beijing and Harbin railway station in Harbin.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway</span> Railway line in China

Beijing–Shenyang high-speed railway is a 700-kilometer (430 mi)-long high-speed rail line of the China Railway High-speed between Beijing and Shenyang, the capital of Liaoning province. It is a section of the Beijing–Harbin high-speed railway.

Guiyang–Guangzhou high-speed railway, also known as the Guiguang HSR, is a high-speed railway line in southern China between Guiyang in Guizhou Province and Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. The railway is dedicated to high speed passenger rail service. The line is 856 km (532 mi) in length and can carry trains at speeds of up to 250 km/h (155 mph). The line was built from 2008 to 2014 and opened on December 26, 2014.

The D101/102 Beijing-Harbin Through Train is Chinese railway running between the capital Beijing to Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang express passenger trains by the Shenyang Railway Bureau, Harbin passenger segment responsible for passenger transport task, Harbin originating on the Beijing train. CRH5 Type Passenger trains running along the Jingha Railway and Harbin–Dalian High-Speed Railway across Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Hebei, Tianjin, Beijing and other provinces and cities, the entire 1241 km. Beijing railway station to Harbin West railway station running 7 hours and 46 minutes, use trips for D101; Harbin West railway station to Beijing railway station to run 7 hours and 52 minutes, use trips for D102.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">China Railways 25G rolling stock</span> Passenger carriages built in China

China Railways 25G rolling stock, or China Railways 25 improved rolling stock is a series of passenger carriages built in China. The carriages run services in mainland China, and on the Trans-Siberian Railway for international services to Moscow. They are also exported to Mombasa–Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway, Addis Ababa–Djibouti Railway, Guinea railways, and Uganda Standard Gauge railways.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2018 Yilan train derailment</span> 2018 rail accident in Taiwan

On 21 October 2018, a passenger train derailed in Yilan County, Taiwan, killing 18 people and injuring 187. At the time, it was Taiwan's deadliest rail accident since a collision near Miaoli in 1991 that killed 30 people.

Newton railway station was a railway station on the Singapore-Kranji Railway, serving Newton from 1903 to 1932.
