Agnès Jaoui is a French actress, screenwriter, film director and singer.

The César Award for Best Writing (French: César du meilleur scénario, dialogues ou adaptation ; César du meilleur scénario original ou adaptation is a discontinued award given by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma from 1976 to 2005. It was split into César Award for Best Original Screenplay and César Award for Best Adaptation in 2006.

The César Award for Best Sound is an award presented annually by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma since 1976.

The César Award for Best First Feature Film is an award presented by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma since 1982. It was originally named the César Award for Best Debut between 1982 and 1999, and César Award for Best Debut in Fiction until 2005, when it has been renamed again in 2006 to its current name.

The Magritte Award for Best Screenplay is an award presented annually by the Académie André Delvaux. It is one of the Magritte Awards, which were established to recognize excellence in Belgian cinematic achievements.

The César Award for Best Original Screenplay is an award presented by the Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma. It was initially awarded from 1983 to 1985, and then awarded again in 2006, when the original category was split into two awards, the other being César Award for Best Adaptation.

The Prix Jacques Prévert du Scénario is a French film award created in 2007 by the French Screenwriters Guild, a trade association which represents more than 350 screenwriters working in the film, television and animation sectors in France.

<i>Fatima</i> (2015 film) 2015 film

Fatima is a 2015 French-Canadian drama film directed by Philippe Faucon. It was screened in the Directors' Fortnight section at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. It won the Prix Louis-Delluc for Best Film in December 2015. It received four nominations at the 41st César Awards and won Best Film, Most Promising Actress and Best Adaptation.

Adam Bessa is a French-Tunisian actor, known for his roles in French and Hollywood productions such as Reda in The Blessed (2017), Kawa in Mosul (2019), soldier Yaz Kahn in Extraction (2020) and its 2023 sequel, and Abbas Naziri in the Amazon Prime Video series Hanna. For his performance in Harka (2022), he won the Un Certain Regard Award for Best Performance at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.

<i>Junkyard Dog</i> (film) 2023 film by Jean-Baptiste Durand

Junkyard Dog is a 2023 coming-of-age comedy-drama film written and directed by Jean-Baptiste Durand in his feature-length directorial debut. The film stars Anthony Bajon, Raphaël Quenard and Galatea Bellugi. It screened at the Festival Premiers Plans d'Angers on 27 January 2023. It was released in France on 19 April 2023. It received seven nominations at the 49th César Awards, including Best Film and Best Original Screenplay, and won two awards: Most Promising Actor and Best First Feature Film.
