Live is the first live album by American blues rock band George Thorogood & the Destroyers. It was released in 1986 by the label EMI America Records. [1] The album was recorded on May 23, 1986 at the Cincinnati Gardens, Ohio. [2] [3]

Live is one of the Destroyers' best-selling albums, selling more than one million copies. [4] The album is also one of the Destroyers' best performing, peaking at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart, and spending 42 weeks on the chart. [5]

Release

EMI America released Live on August 13, 1986. [6] [7] The album debuted at No. 81, [8] and peaked at No. 33 on the Billboard 200 chart. [9] The album was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on April 19, 1995. [10]
