Loma Vista is a census-designated place (CDP) in Starr County, Texas, United States. It is a new CDP, formed from part of the North Escobares CDP prior to the 2010 census, with a population of 160. ^[1]

Loma Vista was formed along with Escobar I CDP, JF Villarreal CDP, Moraida CDP, Pena CDP, and Rivera CDP from parts of North Escobares CDP that was not incorporated into the city of Escobares. ^[15] The CDP was first listed as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census. ^[15]

Education

The CDP is within the Roma Independent School District. ^[18] The zoned elementary school for the 2010 Census community is Veterans Memorial Elementary School. ^[19] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
