Loma Vista was formed along with Escobar I CDP, JF Villarreal CDP, Moraida CDP, Pena CDP, and Rivera CDP from parts of North Escobares CDP that was not incorporated into the city of Escobares. [15] The CDP was first listed as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census. [15]

Education

The CDP is within the Roma Independent School District. [18] The zoned elementary school for the 2010 Census community is Veterans Memorial Elementary School. [19] Roma High School is the district's sole comprehensive high school.
