M. Susan Savage (born March 30,1952) is an American Democratic politician from Oklahoma. She was the 36th Mayor of Tulsa from 1992 to 2002,the first woman to hold that office. From 2003 to 2011,she was the 29th Secretary of State of Oklahoma.
Savage graduated from Edison High School in Tulsa and in 1974 earned a B.A. degree from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) in Pennsylvania. She returned to Tulsa in 1977 and became executive director of the Metropolitan Tulsa Citizens Crime Commission. Savage went on to become chief of staff to then-Tulsa Mayor Rodger Randle before eventually becoming elected mayor herself in a 1992 special election to complete the remainder of Randle's term.
Savage served as mayor of Tulsa from 1992 to 2002,and was the first woman to hold that office.
As mayor,Savage was responsible for a $500 million budget and 4,000 employees. Her administration was marked by unprecedented job growth,neighborhood revitalization,public safety improvements and improved government efficiency. Savage focused on improving streets,parks,water,wastewater,stormwater,public safety,cultural and correctional facilities in Tulsa.
During Savage's administration,the Reason Public Policy Institute of Los Angeles ranked Tulsa 3rd among 44 U.S. cities for how well it delivered government services. Newsweek magazine featured Savage as one of the nation's 25 "mayors to watch" in 1996.
Savage was appointed by Governor of Oklahoma Brad Henry as Secretary of State of Oklahoma and served from 2003 to 2011.
In July 2013 Savage became a consultant and senior director of philanthropic development for Morton Comprehensive Health Services,a nonprofit health services provider in northeastern Oklahoma. [1] In 2016,Savage became CEO of Morton.
She currently lives in Tulsa and has two daughters.
Roxanne Qualls is an American politician who served as the 66th mayor of Cincinnati,Ohio. She also served a two-year term on the Cincinnati City Council prior to her service as mayor,having been elected in 1993. On August 8,2007,the Charter Committee announced her appointment to fill the unexpired term of council member Jim Tarbell. Qualls was elected to a two-year term on Cincinnati City Council in November 2007,and again in 2009 and 2011. She served as Vice Mayor,the chair of the Budget and Finance Committee,chair of the Livable Communities Committee and chair of the Subcommittee on Major Transportation and Infrastructure Projects.

Jayroe worked as an anchor in TV news in Oklahoma City and Dallas-Fort Worth broadcast media markets for 16 years. Later,Governor of Oklahoma Frank Keating appointed her to serve as his Secretary of Tourism and Recreation in his Cabinet. She served in that position from 1999 until 2003. Jayroe has authored numerous articles and books and was spokesman for The Presbyterian Health Foundation.

Incumbent Governor Mary Fallin was re-elected with 55.8% of the vote over state representative Joe Dorman. Primaries were held on June 24,2014. Fallin won the Republican nomination with more than 75% of the vote,and Dorman won the Democratic nomination uncontested.

He served twice as President pro tempore of the Oklahoma Senate and was a member of the Oklahoma Senate from 1972 to 1988. He also served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1970-1972 and as mayor of Tulsa,Oklahoma from 1988-1992.

Monson is an American politician from Oklahoma who served in the Oklahoma State House of Representatives,representing District 99 from 1990–1993,as well as the Oklahoma Senate,representing District 48 from 1993–2005. In 2003,she became the first African American woman assistant majority floor leader in the Oklahoma legislature. Monson defeated incumbent Kirk Humphreys,a former Oklahoma City mayor,for the school board chairman's position in 2009,serving until 2013.
Penny Baldwin Williams was an American Democratic Party politician from Oklahoma. Williams served as a legislator in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988,representing District 70. She later was elected to the Oklahoma Senate,representing District 33,from 1989 to 2004. Senator Williams authored important bills on education during her time in the legislature,including the historic education reform act. Williams also authored a series of bills to strengthen math and science,and the bill creating the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. A supporter of the arts,Williams influenced art education in public schools,and was instrumental in the creation of the Art in Public Places Act.
Della Warrior is the first and only woman to date to serve as chairperson and chief executive officer for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe. She later served as the president of the Institute of American Indian Arts,finding a permanent home for the institution as well as helping to raise more than one hundred million dollars for the institution over 12 years. Warrior was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2007.
Jacqulyn "Jackie" Longacre is the former executive director of Planned Parenthood in Tulsa,Oklahoma. In the eighteen years she was the director of the Tulsa campus,they grew from serving 1,600 patients to serving over 10,000 patients in a single year and were awarded the Fairchild Award,the highest award available for being a quality service affiliate. Longacre played a vital part in establishing Reproductive Services in Tulsa as well as Tulsa County Perinatal Coalition. In 1993,she was inducted in the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame.
Pat Woodrum is the former executive director of the Tulsa City-County Library System,a position she served in for 32 years. Since retiring from the library system in 2008,Woodrum has served as the executive director of the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden in Tulsa. Among numerous awards,Woodrum was inducted in the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 1993.

Kayse Marie Shrum is an American physician and the President of Oklahoma State University. She is the first woman to lead a public research institution in Oklahoma. She was selected as OSU's 19th president in April 2021 and took office on July 1,2021.
Clarence Isaiah Pontius (1892–1981),more commonly identified as Clarence I. Pontius,C. I. Pontius or Cy Pontius,was an Oklahoma businessman,banker and university president. Pontius was born in Butler County,Pennsylvania. He then enrolled in Ohio State University,graduating in 1915 with a degree in agriculture. Following graduation,he built a career in business and finance in Ohio. He relocated to Tulsa,Oklahoma,where he continued his career in finance. In 1935,the trustees of Tulsa University,then struggling with financial problems caused by the Great Depression,recruited Pontius to serve as president of the school. He remained in that position until he retired in 1958 and continued to serve as chancellor until 1964.
