Roxanne Qualls is an American politician who served as the 66th mayor of Cincinnati,Ohio. She also served a two-year term on the Cincinnati City Council prior to her service as mayor,having been elected in 1993. On August 8,2007,the Charter Committee announced her appointment to fill the unexpired term of council member Jim Tarbell. Qualls was elected to a two-year term on Cincinnati City Council in November 2007,and again in 2009 and 2011. She served as Vice Mayor,the chair of the Budget and Finance Committee,chair of the Livable Communities Committee and chair of the Subcommittee on Major Transportation and Infrastructure Projects.

Later,Governor of Oklahoma Frank Keating appointed her to serve as his Secretary of Tourism and Recreation in his Cabinet. She served in that position from 1999 until 2003. Jayroe has authored numerous articles and books and was spokesman for The Presbyterian Health Foundation.

Penny Baldwin Williams was an American Democratic Party politician from Oklahoma. Williams served as a legislator in the Oklahoma House of Representatives from 1981 to 1988,representing District 70. She later was elected to the Oklahoma Senate,representing District 33,from 1989 to 2004. Senator Williams authored important bills on education during her time in the legislature,including the historic education reform act. Williams also authored a series of bills to strengthen math and science,and the bill creating the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics. A supporter of the arts,Williams influenced art education in public schools,and was instrumental in the creation of the Art in Public Places Act.
Della Warrior is the first and only woman to date to serve as chairperson and chief executive officer for the Otoe-Missouria Tribe. She later served as the president of the Institute of American Indian Arts,finding a permanent home for the institution as well as helping to raise more than one hundred million dollars for the institution over 12 years. Warrior was inducted into the Oklahoma Women's Hall of Fame in 2007.
Jacqulyn "Jackie" Longacre is the former executive director of Planned Parenthood in Tulsa,Oklahoma. In the eighteen years she was the director of the Tulsa campus,they grew from serving 1,600 patients to serving over 10,000 patients in a single year and were awarded the Fairchild Award,the highest award available for being a quality service affiliate. Longacre played a vital part in establishing Reproductive Services in Tulsa as well as Tulsa County Perinatal Coalition. In 1993,she was inducted in the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame.

Since retiring from the library system in 2008,Woodrum has served as the executive director of the Oklahoma Centennial Botanical Garden in Tulsa. Among numerous awards,Woodrum was inducted in the Oklahoma Women’s Hall of Fame in 1993.

Clarence Isaiah Pontius (1892–1981),more commonly identified as Clarence I. Pontius,C. I. Pontius or Cy Pontius,was an Oklahoma businessman,banker and university president. Pontius was born in Butler County,Pennsylvania. He then enrolled in Ohio State University,graduating in 1915 with a degree in agriculture. Following graduation,he built a career in business and finance in Ohio. He relocated to Tulsa,Oklahoma,where he continued his career in finance. In 1935,the trustees of Tulsa University,then struggling with financial problems caused by the Great Depression,recruited Pontius to serve as president of the school. He remained in that position until he retired in 1958 and continued to serve as chancellor until 1964.
