The MI Emirates is a professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the International League T20. [1] [2] [3] [4] The franchise is owned by the Indiawin Sports.
In August 2022, the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) announced the establishment of the International League T20, a Twenty20 Cricket competition to be started in 2023.The teams for the competition, representing 6 different cities of United Arab Emirates, including MI Emirates, were put up on auction in UAE in September 2022. The franchise was purchased was revealed that indiawin Sports, led by Reliance industries will be owning a team in the league. The team unveiled their logo and jersey in January 2023, through their social media handles.

Separamadu Lasith Malinga is a Sri Lankan former cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest limited overs bowlers of all time. Playing as a right-arm fast bowler, Malinga was commonly used as a specialist death bowler, and captained the Sri Lanka national cricket team to the 2014 T20 World Cup title. He was nicknamed "Slinga Malinga" due to his distinctive round-arm action, sometimes referred to as a sling action. Malinga announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on 14 September 2021.

Rabindra Ramanarayan "Robin" Singh is an Indian former cricketer and cricket coach. He represented India in one Test and 136 ODIs between 1989 and 2001. An all-rounder, he was a left-handed middle-order batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He has coached the Indian Premier League's Mumbai Indians since 2010 and the Caribbean Premier League's Barbados Tridents since 2013. He has also coached the Deccan Chargers in the IPL's inaugural year.

Evin Earl Lewis is a Trinidadian cricket who used to also play for the West Indies as a left-handed opening batsman.
