The MOBO Awards 2025 is the 27th edition of the MOBO Awards. It is scheduled to take place on 18 February 2025, at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, England. It will honour achievements in music of black origin. [1] Set to live stream on YouTube, it is sponsored by Newcastle City Council, BBC, got2b, Marshall, LNER and Loco Music Company. [2] A host for the ceremony has yet to be announced.

The Grammy Award for Best Traditional R&B Performance is an accolade presented at the Grammy Awards, a ceremony that was established in 1958 and originally named the Gramophone Awards, to performers of quality traditional R&B vocal performances. The award was first given in 1999; until 2003, only albums were nominated, now just singles or tracks are. Nana Richard Abiona, better known by his stage name Fuse ODG, is a Ghanaian-English singer, songwriter and rapper. He came to attention with his first Top-10 song on the UK singles chart, "Antenna", and for his second last Top-10 on that chart, "Dangerous Love". He also featured on Major Lazer's "Light It Up (Remix)", which reached No. 73 on the US Billboard Hot 100 in 2016.

Simbiatu "Simbi" Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, better known by her stage name Little Simz, is an English-Nigerian rapper. She rose to prominence with the independent release of her first three albums: A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons (2015), Stillness in Wonderland (2016) and Grey Area (2019), the last of which was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize and won the awards for Best Album at both the Ivor Novello Awards and the NME Awards.
