<i>The Voice Portugal</i> Television series

The Voice Portugal is a Portuguese reality singing competition and local version of The Voice, originally broadcast as The Voice of Holland. It premiered on 29 October 2011, on RTP1, with the first-season finale airing on 25 February 2012, crowning Denis Filipe as the winner. The show came back in 2014 with its second season with new coaches, a new co-host, a new show name, and new Repórteres V. The winner of the second season was Rui Drumond. RTP1 later announced the first season of The Voice Kids and the third season of the main show. The third season premiered on 11 October 2015 with a new coach, Aurea. In its third season, the show proved to be a hit and was subsequently renewed for a fourth season, which was premiered in 2016.

<i>Lado a Lado</i>

Lado a Lado is a Brazilian telenovela produced and broadcast by Rede Globo from 10 September 2012 to 8 March 2013. It is created by João Ximenes Braga and Claudia Lage, with Chico Soares, Douglas Tourinho, Fernando Rebello, Vellego Jackie, Nina Crintzs and Maria Camargo credited as co-writer. Gilberto Braga serves as the script supervisor and, directed by Dennis Carvalho and Vinicius Coimbra.

The 2014 MTV EMAs were held at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland on 9 November 2014. This was the first time since 2003 when the awards were held in Scotland and the fifth time the United Kingdom has hosted the MTV EMA since the show was hosted in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The event showcases the world's hottest musical acts in a different city each year. The event was hosted by Nicki Minaj.

The CDP Awards are a series of annual sporting awards given by the Sports Confederation of Portugal to highlight sporting achievements over the preceding year. In addition to honouring athletes and coaches nominated by the national sporting federations within Portugal, awards determined in-part by public voting are also presented. There are currently five awards open to voter participation: Sportsman of the Year, Sportswoman of the Year, and Coach of the Year awards, which were introduced in 2005, and the Young Promise and Team of the Year awards, introduced in 2006 and 2007 respectively.

<i>Operation Autumn</i> 2012 Portuguese film

Operation Autumn is a 2012 film directed by Bruno de Almeida and starring John Ventimiglia and Carlos Santos. A political thriller about the operation that lead to the brutal assassination of General Humberto Delgado, killed by the Portuguese police in 1965, during the Estado Novo regime. It was released on 22 November 2012.

The 2014 Sophia Awards were the 2014 edition of the Sophia Awards, an award presented by the Portuguese Academy of Cinema to award the best in Portuguese filmmaking. The nominees were announced on September 9 and the award ceremony took place on October 8, 2014 at the Centro Cultural de Belém in Lisbon.
