Priority Records is an American distribution company and record label known for artists including N.W.A, Ice Cube, MC Ren, Eazy-E, Master P, Snoop Dogg, Silkk the Shocker, Jay-Z, Paris, Mack 10, 504 Boyz, Brotha Lynch Hung, C-Murder, Mia X, Westside Connection, and Ice-T. It also distributed hip hop record labels including Death Row Records, Hoo-Bangin' Records, No Limit Records, Posthuman Records, Rap-A-Lot Records, Rawkus Records, Roc-A-Fella Records, Ruthless Records Duck Down Records, and Wu-Tang Records. According to Billboard, "few record labels were as important to the rise of West Coast hip hop as Priority Records."
Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told is the third studio album by American rapper Snoop Dogg. It was released on August 4, 1998, by No Limit Records and Priority Records. It is his first album following his departure from Death Row Records in January 1998. It is the first Snoop Dogg album to have notable affiliates such as Dr. Dre, Nate Dogg, Warren G and others absent. It was also his first album to be released under a slight change to his stage name "Snoop Dogg" for contractual reasons.

Life or Death is the debut studio album by American rapper C-Murder. It was released on March 17, 1998, by No Limit Records and Priority Records. It was produced by Beats By the Pound. Like most of No Limit's albums in the 1990s, the album was a success, peaking at number 3 on the US Billboard 200 and at number 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums; as well as number 21 on the Top Heatseekers. After debuting on the charts with 197,000 copies sold its first week out, Life or Death achieved platinum status moving over 2 million copies by the end of 1999. In its second week of release, the album charted at number 7 on the Billboard 200, then at number 10 in its third week.

Black Mafia is the second studio album released by American hip hop duo Steady Mobb'n. It was released on November 24, 1998, through No Limit Records, and was produced by Beats By the Pound and Meech Wells; according to group member Billy Bavgate, the record was completed in one week. The only released single, "Ghetto Life", was a minor hit, but the album failed to match the major success of their 1997 debut Pre-Meditated Drama, peaking at #82 on the Billboard 200 and #19 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Steady Mobb'n departed No Limit thereafter. Most critics blame the albums lackluster sales and weak delivery on the account of DJ Daryl not being present on the album. Black Mafia had sold 21,000 copies in its first week.
Goodfellas is the debut studio album by hip hop group, 504 Boyz, released on May 2, 2000, on No Limit Records and Priority Records. 504 Boyz consisted of Master P, Silkk The Shocker, Mystikal, C-Murder, Mac, Krazy and Magic. It featured production from The Neptunes, Carlos Stephens and Donald XL Robertson. The album features label mates Snoop Dogg, Mercedes, Erica Foxx, Samm, Black Felon/X-Con, Ms Peaches, Mr Marcelo, Jamo, Traci/Baby Girl, D.I.G. and Ghetto Commission, as well as Pusha T, Pharrell and RBX.
"Make Em Say Uhh!" is the second single from Master P's 1997 studio album Ghetto D, produced by KLC. The album was released in 1997, but the single was not released until January 1998 through Priority Records and Master P's No Limit Records. He released his debut studio album, The Shocker (1996) under his original stage name Silk through Master P's No Limit Records, which saw with generally unfavorable reception. His second and third albums—Charge It 2 da Game (1998) and Made Man (1999)—both received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and commercial success; the latter debuted atop the Billboard 200. He is the brother of No Limit label founder Master P.
