Manly Warringah District Cricket Club is a cricket club in based in Manly, Sydney, Australia who play in the Sydney Grade Cricket competition. Founded in 1878, Manly was a foundation club in the Sydney grade competition. [1] Manly are relatively successful, having won the Club Championship 5 times since the year 2000. The current head coach is Tim Cruickshank and the first-grade captain Jay Lenton. [2] Manly play their home games at Manly Oval. The club has produced a number of international cricketers, more recently Stephen O'Keefe, Stuart Clark and Michael Bevan, and all-time great Keith Miller. In 2019, Morne Morkel played a season at Manly in preparation for the Big Bash which he played for the Perth Scorchers and after he retired, he became Manly's Assistant Coach.. [3] Current state representatives include Mickey Edwards, Jack Edwards, Stephen O'Keefe and Oliver Davies. Other first-class players include Ahillen Beadle and Jay Lenton. Media personalities including Cameron Merchant and Andrew Rochford currently also represent Manly-Warringah. [4]

The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles are an Australian professional rugby league club based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. The team colours are maroon and white, while their namesake and logo is the sea eagle. They compete in Australia's premier rugby league competition, the National Rugby League (NRL). The club debuted in the 1947 New South Wales Rugby Football League season and currently host the majority of their home games from Brookvale Oval in Brookvale, while training at the New South Wales Academy of Sport in Narrabeen.

Geoffrey Toovey, also known by the nickname of "Toovs" or "Tooves", is the former head coach of the Bradford Bulls and former professional rugby league footballer. Toovey played halfback for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, then played as a hooker later in his career at the Northern Eagles. He played 286 first-grade matches in all, and captained Manly to the 1996 ARL premiership and the 1995 and 1997 grand finals. He played in 13 international matches for Australia between 1991 and 1998. Toovey is the former head coach of Manly-Warringah.
Roy Bull was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s and 1950s and spent his whole career - as player, coach & administrator - with the Manly-Warringah club in Sydney. In addition to playing in three New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership grand finals, he was a representative for the New South Wales rugby league team and the Australian national side. He has since been named amongst the nation's finest footballers of the 20th century.
Stephen Norman John O'Keefe is an Australian cricketer who has played for the Australian national team in Test matches and Twenty20 Internationals, and a commentator for SEN and Nine. O'Keefe was formerly the captain of the New South Wales Sheffield Shield team.
The 1976 New South Wales Rugby Football League premiership was the 69th season of Sydney's professional rugby league football competition, Australia's first. Twelve teams, including six of 1908's foundation clubs and another six from around Sydney, competed for the J. J. Giltinan Shield and WD & HO Wills Cup during the season, which culminated in a grand final between the Manly-Warringah and Parramatta clubs. NSWRFL teams also competed for the 1976 Amco Cup.

Timothy Dale Cruickshank is a New South Wales cricketer. He is a right hand batsman and rarely bowls. He is a regular in the Manly-Warringah Waratahs and made his debut for New South Wales in the 2010/11 Ryobi One Day Cup - a provincial cricket tournament in Australia. In his debut against Queensland at the Brisbane Cricket Ground on 29 October 2010, Cruickshank made 8 off 16 balls. He signed with the Sydney Thunder in the newly formed Big Bash League, playing three games for the team. Cruickshank has also played for New South Wales second XI and the New South Wales under 17 and 19s.
