A city is one of the units of local government in the Philippines. All Philippine cities are chartered cities, whose existence as corporate and administrative entities is governed by their own specific municipal charters in addition to the Local Government Code of 1991, which specifies their administrative structure and powers. As of July 8, 2023, there are 149 cities.
The legislative districts of Cebu are the representations of the province of Cebu in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. At present, the province is currently represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines by its seven congressional districts, with their respective representatives being elected every three years. Locally, the districts are also allotted two seats in the Cebu Provincial Board, with board members also being elected every three years.
The legislative districts of Marikina are the representations of the highly urbanized city of Marikina in the various national and local legislatures of the Philippines. At present, the province is represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines by its two congressional districts, with the districts' representatives being elected every three years. The congressional districts are coextensive with the city's councilor districts, which each elect eight members to the Marikina City Council, creating a total of sixteen elective seats in the legislature.
The legislative districts of Lanao del Sur are the representations of the province of Lanao del Sur in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its first and second congressional districts.
The legislative districts of Bulacan are the representations of the province of Bulacan in the various national legislatures of the Philippines. The province is currently represented in the lower house of the Congress of the Philippines through its first, second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth congressional districts.
Manila's 1st congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in the city of Manila. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of barangays 1 to 146 in the western part of the Manila district of Tondo, west of Dagupan Street, Estero de Vitas and Estero de Sunog Apog bordering Navotas. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ernesto M. Dionisio Jr. of Asenso Manileño and Lakas–CMD.
Quezon City's 2nd congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in Quezon City. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. The district consists of the eastern barangays bordering Marikina, San Mateo and Rodriguez. From 1987 to 2013, it is the most populous district in the country, encompassing the northern part of Quezon City commonly called as Novaliches, until it was redistricted in time for the 2013 election. Just like its pre-2013 composition, it still includes the Batasang Pambansa, the seat of the House of Representatives. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ralph Wendel Tulfo of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).
Rizal's 2nd congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Rizal. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the municipalities of Baras, Cardona, Jalajala, Morong, Pililla, Tanay and Teresa. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Emigdio P. Tanjuatco III of the Liberal Party (LP).
Quezon City's 3rd congressional district is one of the six congressional districts of the Philippines in Quezon City. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. The district consists of the southeastern barangays bordering Marikina and Pasig to the southeast, Kamias Road and the second district to the north, the fourth district to the west and San Juan to the southwest via EDSA. It contains the commercial areas of Cubao, Libis, Bagumbayan, Ugong Norte and the residential areas of Loyola Heights, Quirino, Old Balara and Blue Ridge. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Franz Pumaren of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Cavite's 6th congressional district is one of the eight congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Cavite. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2010. It currently consists of only the city of General Trias. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Antonio Ferrer of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Cavite's 4th congressional district is one of the eight congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Cavite. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2010. It consists of only the city of Dasmariñas. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Elpidio Barzaga, Jr. of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Cavite's 8th congressional district is one of the eight congressional districts of the Philippines in Cavite. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2019. It consists of the southern city of Tagaytay and the municipalities of Alfonso, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Maragondon, Mendez, Naic, and Ternate, bordering the provinces of Batangas and Laguna. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Aniela Bianca Tolentino of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Parañaque's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the city of Parañaque. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2004. The districts consists of the eastern Parañaque barangays of BF Homes, Don Bosco, Marcelo Green, Merville, Moonwalk, San Antonio, San Martin de Porres and Sun Valley. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Gustavo Tambunting of the National Unity Party (NUP).
Pasig's at-large congressional district is the sole congressional district of the Philippines in the city of Pasig. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1987. Pasig first elected a single representative city-wide at-large for the 8th Congress following the ratification of the 1987 Constitution that restored the House of Representatives. Before 1987, the city was represented as part of Pasig–Marikina, Rizal's 2nd and at-large district, and Manila's at-large district, respectively. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Roman Romulo, an independent.
Marikina's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the city of Marikina. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2007. The district was created in 2006 following the passage of Republic Act No. 9364 which amended the 1996 Marikina City Charter. It consists of the northern Marikina barangays of Concepcion Uno, Concepcion Dos, Fortune, Marikina Heights, Parang, Nangka and Tumana bordering Antipolo, Cainta, Quezon City, and San Mateo. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Stella Quimbo of the Liberal Party (LP).
Taguig–Pateros's 1st congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the combined independent local government units of Pateros and Taguig. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2007. The district was created in 2004 following a plebiscite to ratify Republic Act No. 8487 or the 1998 Taguig City Charter. It consists of the entire municipality of Pateros and the eastern Taguig barangays of Bagumbayan, Bambang, Calzada, Hagonoy, Ibayo-Tipas, Ligid-Tipas, Lower Bicutan, New Lower Bicutan, Napindan, Palingon, San Miguel, Santa Ana, Tuktukan, Ususan and Wawa. The district is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Ricardo S. Cruz Jr. of the Nacionalista Party (NP).
Taguig–Pateros's 2nd congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the combined independent local government units of Pateros and Taguig. The district is located entirely within the city of Taguig. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 2007. The district was created in 2004 following a plebiscite to ratify Republic Act No. 8487 or the 1998 Taguig City Charter. It consists of the western Taguig barangays of Central Bicutan, Central Signal Village, Fort Bonifacio, Katuparan, Maharlika Village, North Daang Hari, North Signal Village, Pinagsama, South Daang Hari, South Signal Village, Tanyag, Upper Bicutan and Western Bicutan. The district is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Amparo Maria J. Zamora of the Nacionalista Party (NP).
Bulacan's 4th congressional district is one of the seven congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Bulacan. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 1987. The district consists of the city of Meycauayan and adjacent municipalities in southern Bulacan, namely Marilao and Obando. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Linabelle Villarica of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).
San Jose del Monte's at-large congressional district is the sole congressional district of the Philippines in the city of San Jose del Monte and one of seven in the province of Bulacan. It has been represented in the House of Representatives since 2004. San Jose del Monte first elected a single representative city-wide at-large for the 13th Congress following the passage of Republic Act No. 9230 in 2003 which amended the 2000 San Jose del Monte City Charter. Before 2004, the city was represented in the nation's lower house as part of Bulacan's 4th, Bulacan's 2nd and Region III's at-large districts. It is currently represented in the 18th Congress by Florida P. Robes of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) and Arangkada San Joseño (AR).
Apayao's at-large congressional district refers to the lone congressional district of the Philippines in the province of Apayao. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1998. It was previously included in Kalinga-Apayao's at-large congressional district from 1969 to 1998. The district is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Eleonor Bulut Begtang of the Nationalist People's Coalition (NPC).
