The Inn has a multi-story log lobby, flanked by long frame wings containing guest rooms. In the western portion of the park, it sits at an approximate elevation of 7,350 feet (2,240 m) above sea level.
Valle Crucis in an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in Watauga County, North Carolina, United States. The name of the town is Latin for "Vale of the Cross," a reference to a valley in the area where three streams converge to form a shape similar to an archbishop's cross. The community is located along NC 194, between the towns of Banner Elk and Boone.
Horne Creek Farm is a historical farm near Pinnacle, Surry County, North Carolina. The farm is a North Carolina State Historic Site that belongs to the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, and it is operated to depict farm life in the northwest Piedmont area c. 1900. The historic site includes the late 19th century Hauser Farmhouse, which has been furnished to reflect the 1900-1910 era, along with other supporting structures. The farm raised animal breeds that were common in the early 20th century. The site also includes the Southern Heritage Apple Orchard, which preserves about 800 trees of about 400 heritage apple varieties. A visitor center includes exhibits, a gift shop and offices.

The Burnsed Blockhouse is a historic site originally located north of Sanderson, Florida, United States, off Jacksonville Road. On May 7, 1973, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The blockhouse, probably the oldest structure in Baker County, was later moved from Sanderson to Heritage Park in Macclenny.
The Mast General Store is a general store located in Historic Valle Crucis, North Carolina. It is recognized by the National Register of Historic Places as one of the best remaining examples of the type. It is still the center of the community housing the post office and offering coffee for 5¢ on the honor system. There is even a large wood stove you can sit around on cold days swapping stories or playing a game of checkers. It remains true to the old-time tradition by offering items that its neighbors might need, as well as products of interest to travelers and other visitors. Today there are nine locations, including the Original Store and Annex, both located in Valle Crucis, North Carolina. The store sells commodities, such as old-time hearth and home goods, outdoor clothing and gear, footwear, work clothes, old-fashioned wind-up toys, regional books and music, honey, and more than 500 varieties of old-fashioned candy.
The High Hampton Inn Historic District is a historic estate, resort, and national historic district nestled in the mountains of western North Carolina, in the Cashiers Valley in Jackson County, North Carolina. Originally the summer home of the prosperous Hampton family of South Carolina, the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
The Edisen Fishery is a fishery located in Rock Harbor in the Isle Royale National Park in Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1976 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
Valle Crucis Episcopal Mission, also known as Valle Crucis Conference Center, is a historic Episcopal mission church complex and national historic district located near Valle Crucis, Watauga County, North Carolina. The Gothic Revival style, gable-front stone Church of the Holy Cross was built about 1924. Other contributing resources are the church cemetery with the earliest burial dated to 1808, Auchmutv Hall dormitory (1910-1911), The Annex, "The Farm House" (1915), Former Dairy Barn, Former Apple Barn, The Mission House (1896), the Power Dam (1903-1930), the Valley / Field, and the Apple Orchard. The Valle Crucis Episcopal Mission was established by the Episcopal Church in 1844-1845.
The Jonesborough Historic District is a historic district in Jonesborough, Tennessee, that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Jonesboro Historic District in 1969.
The Paradise Historic District comprises the historic portion of Paradise developed area of Mount Rainier National Park. The subalpine district surrounds its primary structure, the Paradise Inn, a rustic-style hotel built in 1917 to accommodate visitors to the park. The Paradise Inn is a National Historic Landmark. Five other buildings are included in the district. The district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 13, 1991. It is part of the Mount Rainier National Historic Landmark District, which encompasses the entire park and which recognizes the park's inventory of Park Service-designed rustic architecture.
Red Lane Tavern is a historic inn and tavern located at Powhatan, Powhatan County, Virginia. It was built in 1832, and is a 1 1/2-story, log building set on a brick foundation. The main block has a gable roof and exterior end chimneys. It has a 1 1/2-story kitchen connect to the main block by a one-story addition. The building housed an ordinary from 1836 to 1845. It is representative of a Tidewater South folk house.
The Dougherty Mission House is a house located at 18459 Mission Road in Peninsula Township, Michigan. It was designated a Michigan State Historic Site in 1956 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. The house was certainly one of the first frame buildings constructed in Grand Traverse County, and is thought to be the first post and beam house constructed in Michigan's lower peninsula north of Grand Rapids.
Robert Harvey Morrison Farm and Pioneer Mills Gold Mine, also known as Cedarvale, is a historic home and farm and national historic district located near Midland, Cabarrus County, North Carolina. The district encompasses five contributing buildings and three contributing sites. The house was built about 1846, and is a two-story, three bay Greek Revival style frame dwelling. It features a full width one-story, hip roof porch. Also on the property are the contributing smokehouse, log barn, shed, shop, and the remains of the Pioneer Mills Gold Mine including the mine shaft site, ore mill site, and miner's cabin site.
Dr. E. H. Ward Farm is a historic home and farm located near Bynum, Chatham County, North Carolina. The main house was built in sections during the mid-19th through early-20th century beginning about 1840. The earliest section is a 1+1⁄2-story, gable-roofed, two room log structure, that forms the rear of the main section. The main section was built about 1870, and is a one-story, gable-roofed frame structure with a simple gable-front porch. A one-story board-and-batten rear ell was added about 1900. Also on the property are the contributing office of Dr. Ward, carriage house and gear room, board-and-batten barn and log cribs, smokehouse and pen, and a small brick well house.
Riley Everhart Farm and General Store is a historic farm and general store located near Welcome, Davidson County, North Carolina. The main house was built in 1885, and is an I-house that consists of a two-story, three bay by two-bay, brick main block with a two-story rear ell with Italianate style design elements. It has a one-story front porch and one-story porches on the ell. The Arnold General Store and Post Office is a tall, narrow two-story, three bay, frame building with a gable roof. Also on the property are the contributing original brick dairy and wellhouse, original log barn, granary, gear house, corn crib, woodhouse, chicken house, and garage.
Capt. John S. Pope Farm is a historic tobacco farm complex located near Cedar Grove, Orange County, North Carolina. The farmhouse was built between 1870 and 1874, and is a two-story, frame I-house with a one-story ell. It sits on a stone pier foundation, has a triple gable roof, and features stone gable end chimneys. Also on the property are the contributing well house, washhouse, garage / smokehouse, flower house, two corn cribs, feed barn, tobacco ordering/stripping house, two curing barns, stick shed, five tobacco barns, a spring-fed well, workshop, a small log building, two wood sheds, and the surrounding agricultural landscape.
Valle Crucis Historic District is a national historic district located at Valle Crucis, Watauga County, North Carolina. The district encompasses 50 contributing buildings, 1 contributing site, and 7 contributing structures in the central business district and surrounding residential sections of Valle Crucis. It developed between about 1812 and 1954, and includes notable examples of Gothic Revival, Bungalow / American Craftsman, and Colonial Revival style architecture. Located in the district are the separately listed Mast General Store, Mast Farm, and Valle Crucis Episcopal Mission. Other notable contributing buildings are the Baird Farm, Lucy Mast Olsen House (1936-1940), Taylor tobacco barn, Farthing Store (1909), Valle Crucis Bank (1914), Hard Taylor House, and C. D. "Squire" Taylor House (1911).
The Nathaniel Butterworth House is a historic residence located north of Andrew, Iowa, United States. It is one of over 217 limestone structures in Jackson County from the mid-19th century, of which 101 are houses. The Butterworth house features a five bay symmetrical facade capped by a gable roof. The stones, which were said to have been quarried on this farm, are of various sizes and shapes and are laid in courses. Unlike many of the stone houses in Jackson County, the Butterworth house makes use of Classical entablature and pilasters around the transom and the sidelights of the main entry. The double end chimneys are found on only two other stone houses in the county.
The Langford and Lydia McMichael Sutherland Farmstead is a farm located at 797 Textile Road in Pittsfield Charter Township, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. It is now the Sutherland-Wilson Farm Historic Site.
