Maximilian Paul (born 14 February 2000) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the DTM for his own team Paul Motorsport.
Paul started karting in 2011. [1] He has competed in the KZ2 category of the CIK-FIA Karting European Championship and WSK Super Master Series as a factory driver of DR Racing Kart. [2]
In 2017 Paul made his car racing debut by competing in a round of the DMV BMW Challenge. [3]
In 2018 he competed in the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup. [3]
In 2019 he returned to the championship, competing in four races which he all won. [4] That he also made his debut in the ADAC GT Masters. [2] He competed for the T3 Motorsport team from Dresden and finished the season in 34th.
In 2020 he remained in the ADAC GT Masters with T3-HRT-Motorsport. [5] [6] Together with his teammate Niels Langeveld he finished the season in 30th. Paul also made an appearance in the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS Cup, where he won both races at Autodrom Most and TT Circuit Assen. [7] [8] [9]
In 2021 he started his third season with T3 Motorsport in the ADAC GT Masters. [10] He started the season with Hugo Sasse as his teammate. [11] Later in the season Sasse was replaced first by Marco Mapelli and then Luca Ghiotto. [12] [13] Paul finished the season in 22nd. [14] In 2021 he also joined his team for a guest start in the Red Bull Ring round of the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. [15] He finished the races in thirteenth and eleventh. [16] [17]
In 2022 Paul was announced as a Lamborghini Junior. [17] [18] [19] He remained in the ADAC GT Masters with the same team once again. [20] He also joined the team to compete in the 24 Hours of Daytona. [21] [22] The team finished the race eight in the GTD class. [23] In the ADAC GT Masters Paul's teammate would be Marco Mapelli. [24] [25] During the season the team hit financial troubles and was at risk of insolvency. [26] [27] From the fourth round at the Nürburgring onwards Maximilian Paul and Marco Mapelli started under the name Paul Motorsport with the help of Maximilian's father Tobias Paul and his main sponsor Meyle Autoteile. [27] [28] In the second race at the Nürburgring the pair finally took their first podium of the season. [29] Three more podiums throughout the season enabled the pair to finish the season in eleventh after a poor start. [17] [27] [30]
In 2023 Paul joined Oregon Team to compete in the International GT Open with Pierre-Louis Chovet as his teammate. [31] [32] The pair took their first race win at the Hungaroring. [33] [34] At Circuit Paul Ricard they took their second race win of the season. [35]
He also completed a guest start in the ADAC GT Masters with his fathers's team Paul Motorsport and teammate Simon Connor Primm. [36]
Paul then joined GRT Grasser Racing Team in the 2023 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters as a replacement for Mick Wishofer. [17] [37] He won the wet second race on his first weekend at the Nürburgring. [38]

Raffaele "Lello" Marciello is a Swiss-born Italian professional racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship and the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup for BMW M Team WRT. A former member of the Ferrari Driver Academy, he was the 2013 European Formula Three Champion, a reserve and test driver for the Sauber Formula One team in 2015, and spent three seasons competing in the GP2 Series. He switched to GT racing in 2017 and became a works Mercedes-AMG driver ahead of the 2018 campaign, where he stayed until leaving in 2023 and subsequently signing with BMW. In 2022, Marciello earned his first major endurance race victory by winning the Spa 24 Hours.
