Medleri is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India. [1] [2] It is located in the Ranibennur taluk of Haveri district in Karnataka.

Karnataka is a state in the south western region of India. It was formed on 1 November 1956, with the passage of the States Reorganisation Act. Originally known as the State of Mysore, it was renamed Karnataka in 1973. The state corresponds to the Carnatic region. The capital and largest city is Bangalore.

Haveri is a district in the state of Karnataka, India with the potential to become a tourist hub. As of 2001, it had a population of 1,439,116 of which 20.78% were urban residents.

As of 2001 India census, Medleri had a population of 9426 with 4838 males and 4588 females. [1]

A census is the procedure of systematically acquiring and recording information about the members of a given population.
