Met 1 is a residential skyscraper located in the Metropolitan Miami complex in the central business district of Downtown Miami, Florida, United States.

Contents

Met 1 was the first building to be completed in the complex. Completed in 2007, the building rises 40 stories and 440 feet (130 m). It is a residential building, designed to supplement the much larger Met 3 tower, of which it is similar architecturally.

The Metropolitan Miami project has gained attention due to NBA star Shaquille O'Neal's involvement in the project. He formed the O'Neal Group, a building-development company. The Metropolitan Miami project is the group's first.

Vizcayne is an urban development in the City of Miami, Florida. It is located in northeastern Downtown Miami and consists of two residential skyscrapers, North Tower and the South Tower as well as a retail center. The buildings were topped out in 2007, and were completed in early 2008. They are located on Biscayne Boulevard between Northeast 2nd and 3rd Streets.

Onyx on the Bay is the name given to the tallest building in the Onyx on the Bay Complex in Miami, Florida, United States. Located in northern Midtown Miami, the tower was completed in 2007. It is 27 floors and 308 feet tall. The building is located on Northeast 25th Street between Biscayne Avenue and the oceanfront. It is a development of BAP/GGM development. Its counterpart, Onyx 2 on the Bay, was a planned residential tower but was later canceled. It was supposed to be 49 floors and 543 feet tall when completed. As of November 2007, a sign resides on the respective property reading 'For Sale. Land, plans and permits for Onyx 2. Includes fully equipped sales center.'

One Bayfront Plaza is a proposed supertall skyscraper approved for construction in the U.S. city of Miami, Florida. If completed, the building would stand at 1,049 feet (320 m), with 93 floors, becoming the tallest building in Miami and Florida. One Bayfront Plaza would primarily consist of offices and hotel space, but also would include a retail mall, condominiums, and parking garage on the lower levels, as well as possibly an observation deck at the top. The entire project consists of over 1,400,000 square feet (100,000 m2) of Class A office and hotel space, as well as a total building area of over 4,000,000 square feet (371,612 m2) including the large podium. One Bayfront Plaza is the first skyscraper over 1,000 feet (305 m) to be approved for construction in Miami. The building's primary advocate is real estate developer Tibor Hollo, who has won several awards for his 55 years as a developer in Miami, and is currently the president of Florida East Coast Realty.

300 Grove Bay Residences was a proposed residential development to be located in the Coconut Grove neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The complex was to consist of 3 high-rise buildings, with all three rising at least 300 feet (91 m). Each building in the complex was designed by the Arquitectonica architectural firm and was being jointly developed by Ocean Land Investments and The Related Group of Florida. The towers were originally approved for construction in September 2007 and were expected to be completed by 2010. In May 2008, however, the Miami-Dade Circuit Court nullified the project's approval on grounds of procedural violations and spot zoning. Since its approval was nullified in 2008, the project has neither begun construction nor undergone a redesign, and it is no longer considered an active development.

The Manhattan Gardens, also known as the Manhattan Gardens at Araneta City is a 5.7-hectare (14-acre) transit-oriented residential development located at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City.
