Carbonell Condominium is a residential high-rise building located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. The tower is one of the tallest buildings located on Brickell Key, a small island located due east of Brickell at the mouth of the Miami River in Biscayne Bay. Standing at 410 feet (125 metres), the building is currently tied with Two Tequesta Point as the 88th-tallest building in the city. The building's address is 901 Brickell Key Boulevard. Carbonell Condominium houses 40 floors, and was completed in 2005.
The Four Seasons Hotel and Tower, also known as the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, is a 70-story, 781 feet (238 m) skyscraper in Miami, Florida. Located in downtown Miami's Brickell Financial District, it is the second tallest building in Miami as well as in Florida. The building is located near the Mary Brickell Village shopping area, on South Miami Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets. It is located in the southwestern Brickell Financial District, about three blocks west of Biscayne Bay.
Tequesta Point is a complex of residential high-rises in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. It consists of three skyscraper buildings located on Brickell Key, an urban island to the east of the Central Business District. Three Tequesta Point, the tallest of the three, was completed in 2001. It is 480 ft tall, and has 46 floors. Two Tequesta Point, the central building of the complex, was completed in 1999. It is 410 ft tall, and has 40 floors. One Tequesta Point, the original building of the complex, was built in 1995. It contains 30 floors and is at the northern end of Brickell Key. The buildings, when opened, were some of the tallest Miami had to offer; however, since the start of the building boom in the early 2000s, many skyscrapers which are much taller than the Tequesta Point buildings have been built. Nevertheless, because the complex is located directly on Biscayne Bay, the buildings can still be seen from Miami Beach and from boats in the bay.
Brickell City Centre is a large mixed-use complex consisting of two residential high-rise towers, two office buildings, a high-rise hotel, and an interconnected five-story shopping mall and lifestyle center covering 9 acres (36,000 m2) located in the Brickell district of Downtown Miami, Florida. Situated at the junction of Miami Avenue and Eighth Street, it spans up to five blocks to the west of Brickell Avenue and to the south of the Miami River. Contrary to the name, the development is not in the traditional downtown Miami city centre, but in the more recently redeveloped financial district of Brickell. The retail shopping and lifestyle center is operated by Simon Malls.
Infinity at Brickell is a condominium in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located in Miami's Brickell Financial District. When it topped out, it was the 6th tallest building in Miami and Florida. Although not in the same complex, it was built across the street from Infinity II site, hence its name. The location is in southwestern Brickell, on South Miami Avenue near 13th Street. The building opened in 2008. It is 630 feet (190 m) tall, and has 56 floors. It is about 100 feet (30 m) shorter than Infinity II was supposed to be. The lower floors of the building are dedicated to office space and retail, while the upper floors are used for residential units. The architects are Adache Group Architects and Borges & Associates.
The Icon Brickell complex is an urban development center in Miami, Florida, United States. It is located on the south side of the Miami River in Downtown's northern Brickell Financial District. The complex consists of three skyscrapers and the Icon Brickell Plaza, connecting the towers at their base. The first two towers, the Icon Brickell North Tower and Icon Brickell South Tower, are twin buildings. Each one is 586 feet (179 m) tall with 58 floors. The third phase of the complex is the W Hotel Tower, which is 542 feet (165 m) tall with 50 floors. The complex is on the east side of Brickell Avenue between Southeast 5th and 6th Streets. The architectural firm Arquitectonica worked on the project, while the design was done by Philippe Starck and John Hitchcox's design company.
The Villa Magna Condominium Complex was an urban development that was planned to rise on a 2.5-acre (1.0-hectare) plot in Brickell, downtown Miami, Florida. It was approved in 2006 by the city council and the Federal Aviation Administration and construction was slated to begin in April 2007. The ending date was approximated to be late 2008 or early 2009; however, the housing crisis of the late 2000s halted the project. The project was revived as The Towers by Foster + Partners in 2016, after FAA approval of supertall heights. Done in the early 2020s the site was sold again to Citadel Group who planned a move to Miami from Chicago.
Latitude on the River is a complex of residential and office towers in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of the 44-story north tower Latitude on the River and the 35-storey, 113 meter south tower NeoVertika, as well as the 93-metre (305 ft) office building Latitude One.
The Brickell World Plaza, also known as 600 Brickell, and formerly known as the Brickell Financial Center, is an office skyscraper in Miami, Florida, United States in the downtown neighborhood and financial district of Brickell at 600 Brickell Avenue. The former Brickell Financial Center Phase I, the Brickell World Plaza is a 520-foot (160 m) skyscraper, one of the tallest buildings in Miami. 600 Brickell is located between the Sixth Street and Seventh Street Metromover stations.
The Palace is a residential high-rise building located in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. Standing at 400 feet, the building is currently the 74th-tallest building in the city. The building is located at 1541 Brickell Avenue. The Palace houses 42 floors, and was completed in 1981 by real estate magnate Harry Helmsley. The building was designed by the renowned Arquitectonica architectural firm, and MEP engineering services were provided by Franyie Engineers, Inc. (franyie.com). The building was the first condominium high-rise tower to be exclusively represented and sold by real estate broker Alicia Cervera, founder and chairman of Cervera Real Estate.
500 Brickell is a residential complex in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida, United States. The complex consists of two condominium towers, 500 Brickell West Tower and 500 Brickell East Tower. The two buildings were designed as twin towers, and rise 426 feet, with 42 floors. Both skyscrapers were designed by the Arquitectonica architectural firm and the complex was developed by Thomas Kramer's Portofino Group in partnership with the Related Group of Florida. The towers' construction began in April 2005, was topped out in mid-2007 and was completed in 2008.
The Bond on Brickell is a 44-story, 328-unit residential skyscraper at 1080 Brickell Avenue. The building is located near the Tenth Street Metromover station and the Brickell Metrorail station.
Manuel Carbonell was a Cuban Contemporary and Modern artist, regarded as among the greatest Cuban sculptors of his generation. He was part of the generation of Cuban artists that includes Wifredo Lam and Agustín Cárdenas, that studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes "San Alejandro", Havana, Cuba. Carbonell's inexhaustible vision and his ever-changing style is the product of a brilliant talent with an academic background. Ceaselessly searching for the essence of form and the absence of details, he empowered a sense of strength and monumentality to his work. Until the age of 92, he had continued to work daily in his studio.
Brickell House is a condominium tower in the Brickell neighborhood of Miami, Florida. It was built by Newgard Development Group. Proposed in 2011, the tower stands at roughly 500 feet (152 m) with 46 floors and is opened in 2014. Construction began in spring of 2012, making it one of the first condominium projects to go ahead in Miami since the 2007 housing bust and late 2000s recession. Construction of the tower was estimated to create 300 to 400 jobs.
The Riverfront is an urban development in Downtown Miami, Florida, United States. The complex is located on the north bank of the Miami River in Miami's Central Business District. The complex contains three main towers, "Mint" and "The Ivy" and "Wind." The taller of the three, Mint, is currently the 6th-tallest building in Miami and Florida. It has 55 floors and rises 631 feet (192 m).
One Brickell City Centre is a proposed 80 story, 1,040 ft office skyscraper in the city of Miami, Florida. The tower would be part of the existing nine-acre Brickell City Centre development. If built, One Brickell City Centre would be the tallest building in Miami and the Southeastern United States, surpassing the Bank of America Plaza in Atlanta. It would also surpass the height of the not yet constructed One Bayfront Plaza, which is approved at 1,010 ft tall. Demolition on the existing structure is still underway as of January 2024.
The SLS Hotel & Residences Brickell is a high rise building in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida. The project includes 450 condominium units in addition to the 133 room hotel. With the exception of a few penthouses, the project sold out before breaking ground. The project is located at 1300 South Miami Avenue, next to the Infinity at Brickell; it replaces the second phase of that project. There is another SLS-branded building a few blocks north known as SLS Lux.
Brickell Flatiron is a residential skyscraper in the Brickell district of Miami, Florida. Brickell Flatiron is 736 feet (224 m) tall, 64 stories, and has 527-units. The luxury condominium is named "flatiron" due to the triangular lot it is built on, similar to the Flatiron Building in New York City. The 736-foot-high tower is currently the tallest condominium south of New York City.
