The Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure (formerly the Ministry of Public Works) is the minister of the South African government with political responsibility for South Africa's Department of Public Works. The current minister is Sihle Zikalala, who was appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa on 6 March 2023.

The ministry was created after the creation of the Union of South Africa as a British dominion in 1910.

Madeleine Bertine Hicklin is a South African politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly since May 2019. She served as a ward councillor in the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality from August 2016 to May 2019. Hicklin is a member of the Democratic Alliance.

Samantha Jane Graham is a South African politician from the Eastern Cape who was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in the 2019 general election as a member of the Democratic Alliance. Graham has been the party's Shadow Minister of Electricity since 2023. Graham served as the shadow deputy minister of public works and infrastructure from 2019 to 2020 and as the shadow minister for the portfolio between 2020 and 2023. She is a former councillor of the Dr Beyers Naudé Local Municipality.
