The Miss North Carolina USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state North Carolina in the Miss USA pageant. This state is part of the RPM Productions group since 1992.
The Miss South Carolina USA competition, previously known as Miss South Carolina Universe, is the pageant that selects the representative for the state South Carolina in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant was first held in Myrtle Beach and moved to Greenville starting in 1958 and remained in that city until the 1990s. Spartanburg hosted the pageant in a few different venues until new leadership took over the organization and moved the pageant to Columbia, SC in 2011. The pageant was televised since the 1960s until the 1998 pageant. Televising was resumed with the 2000 pageant through 2006. The pageant returned to television in 2014.
The Miss Ohio Scholarship Program selects the representative for the U.S. state of Ohio to compete for the title of Miss America. The pageant is held annually, during the "Miss Ohio Festival" week, at the historic 1,600 seat Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield.
Miss World America 2015 was the 7th edition of the Miss World America pageant held on July 3, 2015 at the Auditorium of the University of the District of Columbia, Washington, D.C. Elizabeth Safrit of North Carolina, who was also Miss United States 2014 and the 2nd runner-up in Miss World 2014, crowned her successor at the end of the event. All fifty states except Wyoming, the District of Columbia, and American Samoa competed for the crown. The winner was Victoria Mendoza from Arizona, and she represented the United States in Miss World 2015 pageant on December 19 in Sanya, China.
