Miss USA 1982 was the 31st Miss USA pageant, televised live on May 13, 1982, from the Gulf Coast Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi on CBS.
The pageant was won by Terri Utley of Arkansas, [1] who was crowned by outgoing titleholder Kim Seelbrede of Ohio. Utley was the first – and to date (as of 2023 [update] ) only – woman from Arkansas to win the Miss USA title, and went on to place as 4th runner-up at Miss Universe 1982.
The judges included Miss USA 1975 Summer Bartholomew and Miss USA 1980 Jineane Ford. [2]
Jeannine Boger, who was Miss North Carolina USA is the mother of Miss USA 2009 Kristen Dalton.

Miss Arkansas USA, previously known as Miss Arkansas Universe, is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of Arkansas in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant is directed by Vanbros and Associates.
The Miss Ohio USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of Ohio in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. It has previously been known as Miss Ohio Universe. It is produced by Proctor Productions.
Miss USA 2006 was the 55th Miss USA pageant, held at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland on April 21, 2006. Fifty-one state titleholders competed for the title, which was won by Tara Conner of Kentucky. Conner was crowned by outgoing titleholder Chelsea Cooley of North Carolina.

Miss USA 1991 was the 40th anniversary of the Miss USA pageant, televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on February 22, 1991. At the conclusion of the final competition, Kelli McCarty of Kansas was crowned by outgoing titleholder Carole Gist of Michigan. McCarty became the first titleholder from Kansas and only the third winner to be crowned as Miss USA in her home state.

She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Charlotte Ray of New Jersey. Belden went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1992 Pageant in South Africa later that year. she finished in the Top 10 at Miss World.

She finished in the Top 15 at Miss World.
