Miss World is the oldest existing international beauty pageant. It was created in the United Kingdom by Eric Morley in 1951. Since his death in 2000, Morley's widow, Julia Morley, has co-chaired the pageant. Along with Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss Earth, it is one of the Big Four beauty pageants.

Miss Cameroon or Miss Cameroun is a national Beauty pageant in Cameroon where the winners traditionally go to Miss Universe and Miss World. The current Miss Cameroon 2023 is Ndoun Issie Marie Princesse of Littoral. She represented Cameroon at Miss Universe 2023 pageant in El Salvador and placed Top 20.
Miss Cuba is a national Beauty pageant in Cuba.
The Miss Equatorial Guinea is an annual national beauty pageant in Equatorial Guinea where the winner goes to Miss Universe pageant. The reigning queen is Alba Isabel Obama from Mbini.
Miss Earth Malaysia is an annual national beauty pageant that selects Malaysia's representative to the Miss Earth pageant. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify for either contest, a runner-up is sent.
Glamanand International India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects a representative to compete in Miss Grand International. The pageant also selects representatives to Miss Multinational, an international pageant organized by the Glamanand group.
Miss World USA 1971 was the 10th edition of the Miss World USA pageant, held in the Hampton Roads Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia, and was won by Karen Brucene Smith of Texas. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder Sandra Wolsfeld of Illinois. Smith went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1971 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as fifth runner-up at Miss World. She later won Miss American Beauty 1974 and competed in and later won Miss International 1974.
The Miss World America Arizona competition is a beauty pageant that selects the representative for Arizona in the Miss World America pageant.
The Miss Michigan World competition is a beauty pageant that selects the representative for Michigan in the Miss World America pageant.
The Miss New York World competition is a beauty pageant that selects the representative for New York State in the Miss World America pageant.
