She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Amedee Chabot of California. Metrinko went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1963 Pageant in London later that year. Miss USA 1991

Miss USA 1991, the 40th Miss USA pageant, was televised live from the Century II Convention Center in Wichita, Kansas on February 22, 1991. At the conclusion of the final competition, Kelli McCarty of Kansas was crowned by outgoing titleholder Carole Gist of Michigan. Kelli became the first titleholder from Kansas and only the 3rd winner to be crowned as Miss USA in her home state.

Miss Teen USA 1984, the second Miss Teen USA pageant, was televised live from Memphis Cook Convention Center, Memphis, Tennessee on 3 April 1984. At the conclusion of the final competition, Cherise Haugen of Illinois was crowned by outgoing queen Ruth Zakarian of New York.

Miss USA 1980

Miss USA 1980, the 29th Miss USA pageant, was televised live on May 15 from the Gulf Coast Convention Center in Biloxi, Mississippi on CBS.

Miss USA 1963, the 12th Miss USA pageant, took place in Miami Beach, Florida on July 17, 1963. The pageant was won by Marite Ozers of Illinois, who was crowned by outgoing titleholder Macel Leilani Wilson of Hawaii. Latvian-born Ozers was the first woman born outside the U.S. to take the Miss USA title, and the second delegate from Illinois to do so. Ozers went on to finish as a Top 15 semi-finalist at Miss Universe 1963. This was the first Miss USA to be broadcast on television, first aired on CBS that would be remained in the next 39 years.

Miss World America 1980 was the 3rd edition of the Miss World America pageant and it was held in Studio 54 in New York City, New York and was won by Brooke Alexander of Hawaii. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Carter Wilson of Virginia. Alexander went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1980 Pageant in London later that year. She finished as 6th Runner-Up at Miss World.

Miss World USA 1977 was the 16th edition of the Miss World USA pageant, held in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The title was won by Cindy Darlene Miller of Virginia.
