Miss USA 2002 was the 51st Miss USA pageant, held at Genesis Convention Center in Gary, Indiana on March 1, 2002. The event was won by Shauntay Hinton of the District of Columbia, who was crowned by outgoing queen Kandace Krueger of Texas. This is the second year in a row and third time since 1995 a Miss Teen USA state delegate did not win or inherit the Miss USA title.

Miss USA 1986 was the 35th Miss USA pageant, televised live on May 20 from Miami, Florida on CBS. The ceremonies were hosted by Bob Barker. At the conclusion of the final competition, Christy Fichtner of Texas was crowned Miss USA, becoming the second consecutive winner from Texas. Fichtner served the pageant for only nine months as the pageant was moved into the newly-established February schedule in 1987. Florida's hosting the pageant marked the 15th time has ever done in the Miss USA history.
Miss World America 2016 was the 8th edition of the Miss World America pageant held on July 8, 2016 at the National Harbor, Washington, D.C. Victoria Mendoza of Arizona crowned her successor Audra Mari of North Dakota at the end of the event. she represented the United States at the Miss World 2016 pageant on December 20 in Washington, D.C. and placed Top 11.
Miss World America 1994 was the 6th edition of the Miss World America pageant and it was held in Veracruz, Mexico and was won by Kristie Harmon of Georgia. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Maribeth Brown of Massachusetts. Harmon went on to represent the United States at the Miss World 1994 Pageant in South Africa later that year. She did not place at Miss World.
