Ty Hubert Detmer is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He won the Heisman Trophy in 1990 while playing college football for the BYU Cougars. Detmer broke numerous NCAA records with BYU, and was twice recognized as a consensus All-American. A late-round pick in the 1992 NFL draft, Detmer played for six NFL teams over 14 seasons, mostly in a backup role. He is currently the Athletic Director at American Leadership Academy – Gilbert North High School in Gilbert, Arizona.

William Anton "Moose" Fischer was an American football lineman who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Cardinals, from 1949 to 1953. He was a first-round pick by the Chicago Cardinals in the 1949 NFL draft. With the Cardinals, he was invited to three Pro Bowls. He played college football at the University of Notre Dame, where he won two national championships, was twice named a consensus All-American in 1947, and 1948, and was awarded the Outland Trophy, as the nation's top lineman in 1948. He was the first Mr. Irrelevant to make the NFL Pro Bowl, as the last pick in the 1948 NFL draft; Fischer was drafted by the Chicago Cardinals after his junior season at Notre Dame. He opted to stay in school, and won the Outland Trophy as the nation's top interior lineman in 1948. The Cardinals drafted him again in 1949, this time in the first round.
The BYU Cougars football team is the college football program representing Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah. The Cougars began collegiate football competition in 1922, and have won 23 conference championships and one national championship in 1984.

Matt Bushman is an American former professional football tight end who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played high school football at Sabino High School in Tucson, Arizona, where he led the country in receiving yards by a tight end his senior year with 1,583 yards and 26 touchdowns. After serving as a Mormon missionary in Chile from 2014 to 2016, Bushman played for the BYU Cougars football team from 2017 to 2020. While at BYU, he was a freshman All-American, led the team in receiving yards for three straight seasons, and was a two-time Phil Steele All-Independent first team selection. He missed the entire 2020 season due to injury. He also played college baseball for the BYU Cougars baseball team in 2017.
