Mohamed Obaid Hindi Al-Saadi (born 24 February 1994) is an Omani sprinter competing primarily in the 200 metres. [1] He represented his country at the 2017 World Championships without advancing from the first round.

At the 2005 West Asian Games, the athletics events were held at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha, Qatar. Contested over three days, from 7 to 9 December, it was the first time that women were allowed to compete in athletics events at the Games. A total of 28 events were contested, of which 23 by male and 5 by female athletes. The event was seen as a test event for the Athletics at the 2006 Asian Games, which Doha hosted the following year.

The 2011 GCC U-23 Championship was the third edition of the GCC U-23 Championship. It took place in Doha, Qatar for the second time. Six nations took part. The competition was held in Doha from 12 to 21 August. Oman won their first title after defeating United Arab Emirates 4–2 on penalties in the final.
