Morocco competed at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships in Budapest, Hungary from 14 July to 30 July.
Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco, is a country located in the Maghreb region of North West Africa with an area of 710,850 km2 (274,460 sq mi). Its capital is Rabat, the largest city Casablanca. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west. Morocco claims the areas of Ceuta, Melilla and Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera, all of them under Spanish jurisdiction.
The 17th FINA World Championships were held in Budapest, Hungary from 14 to 30 July 2017.
Budapest is the capital and the most populous city of Hungary, and the tenth-largest city in the European Union by population within city limits. The city had an estimated population of 1,752,704 in 2016 distributed over a land area of about 525 square kilometres. Budapest is both a city and county, and forms the centre of the Budapest metropolitan area, which has an area of 7,626 square kilometres and a population of 3,303,786, comprising 33 percent of the population of Hungary.
Morocco has received a Universality invitation from FINA to send three swimmers (two men and one woman) to the World Championships. [1]
FINA or Fédération internationale de natation is the international federation recognised by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) for administering international competition in water sports. It is one of several international federations which administer a given sport or discipline for the IOC and international community. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Mohammed VI is the King of Morocco. He is a member of the Alaouite dynasty and ascended to the throne on 23 July 1999 upon the death of his father, King Hassan II.

Robert La Caze was a Moroccan-French racing driver. He was born in Paris, France, but raced under the Moroccan flag, the only driver to do so in F1 history. He participated in one Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, the 1958 Moroccan Grand Prix, driving a privately run Formula 2 Cooper. He finished 14th, five laps behind the winner, scoring no championship points. He was classified third in the F2 class. He was the oldest living Formula 1 driver from the death of Paul Pietsch in May 2012 until his own death in July 2015.

She holds the Moroccan national record in the mile run. Her personal best for the 1500 m is 4:01.75 minutes, set in 2017.

He was the top goalscorer of the CHAN 2018 taking place on home soil with 9 goals, thus making him the first player to reach that tally in a single competition having surpassed the previous record set by Zambia's Given Singuluma who had scored 5 goals in 2009.
