The Myanmar women's national futsal team represents Myanmar in international women's futsal competitions and is sanctioned by the Myanmar Football Federation, the governing body for futsal in the country.
The SEA Games has only been the international competition that Myanmar's women's team have joined. [3] Futsal for both men's and women's was introduced in the calendar of the regional games in 2007. While the men's team had the AFF Futsal Championship there is no equivalent for the women's until 2024. [4] The team has not entered the AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup or joined the Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games.
Myanmar has competed in every SEA Games featuring women's futsal, winning a bronze medal in the 2011 edition [5]
Myanmar's futsal team which last competed in the 2017 SEA Games in Malaysia was disrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic and was reorganized around 2021 in preparation for their return to the regional games in the supposed 2021 edition in Vietnam. [4] That games was postponed by a year allowing Myanmar to take part in the 2022 NSDF Women Futsal Championship in Thailand, a friendly tournament as part of its preparation for the regional games in Hanoi. [6]
Myanmar decided to enter the qualifiers for the 2025 AFC Women's Futsal Asian Cup in China as well as the inaugural 2024 ASEAN Women's Futsal Championship in the Philippines. [3]

The Myanmar women's national football team is the female association football team representing Myanmar and is controlled by Myanmar Football Federation (MFF).

Min Min Thu is a Burmese footballer and a midfielder for Myanmar national football team. He is the bronze medalist with Myanmar U23 in 2011 SEA Games.
Myanmar national under-20 football team is the under-20 football team of Myanmar. It was known as the Burma national youth football team before 1989. During a ten-year span between 1961 and 1970, Burma thoroughly dominated the U-19/U-20 Asian Cup, reaching the finals eight times and winning the tournament seven times. The team participated in 2014 AFC U-19 Championship and qualified for the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand after reaching the semi-finals stage. The third season of Burmese reality talent show The Voice Myanmar premiered on August 23, 2020 on MRTV-4. Kyar Pauk, Ni Ni Khin Zaw, Yan Yan Chan and R Zarni continued as coaches for this season.
The 2021 National League 2, also known as the 2021 MPT Myanmar National League 2, is the ninth season of the MNL-2, the second division league for association football clubs since its founding in 2012.
Myanmar is scheduled to compete at the 2021 Southeast Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam. Originally scheduled to take place in 2021, the Games were postponed to 12 May to 23 May 2022, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Myanmar Olympic Committee sent a Myanmar sports team to compete in 20 sports.
Myanmar participated at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia from 5 to 17 May 2023. Myanmar Olympic Committee sent 341 athletes to compete in 19 sports. Myanmar delegation included totally 500 with 341 athletes and 159 officials. The handing over of the victory flag for the Myanmar sports team by Prime Minister Min Aung Hlaing was held on April 25 at Wunnatheikdi Indoor Stadium (B). Starting from April 26, athletes left for Cambodia according to their respective sports.
The People's Pioneer Party is a political party in Myanmar. More than half of the party's 19 founders are businessmen. They include U Myint, a former economic adviser to the Thein Sein's Cabinet; Zaw Oo, an economist who also serves as the party's economic and policy adviser; and Thet Thet Khaing, former member of the Pyithu Hluttaw for Dagon Township who resigned from the National League for Democracy.
Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation is the national level body representing Myanmar in Paralympic Games. It is a sports federation for the physically challenged under the Myanmar Olympic Committee. Unlike other countries, there is no National Paralympic Committee, only the Sports Federation, which is under the Olympic Committee. Work is underway to form a Myanmar Paralympic Committee. The Sports Federation is located at Aung San Memorial Stadium, Yangon.

Originally planned to take place from 13 to 22 December 2020, it was eventually rescheduled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Indonesia competed at the 2022 ASEAN University Games in Ubon Rachathani, Thailand. 2022 ASEAN University Games will be the 20th edition of the ASEAN University Games. Vero Nika is a Burmese Lethwei and Muay Thai fighter. She is one of the most successful female Lethwei fighters in the sport. In 2022, amid unrest in Myanmar because of the 2021 Myanmar coup d'état, she started competing in Muay Thai in neighboring Thailand. She reached the no.1 spot in the female world rankings at 53 kg according to World Muay Thai Organization, and became Thai Fight Kard Chuek Champion.
Thway Thit Win Hlaing is a Burmese Lethwei fighter and current openweight Lethwei world Champion. He is known as counter fighter relying on counters rather than straight offence.
Myanmar is participating at the 2023 ASEAN Para Games in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs sent 82 athletes to compete in 8 sports. Myanmar delegation included totally 126 with 82 athletes and 44 officials. The team was led by General Hla Moe, the chairman of Myanmar Paralympic Sports Federation.
Miss Grand Myanmar 2016 was the first edition of the Miss Grand Myanmar beauty pageant, held at the City Hall of Pyin Oo Lwin, on August 8, 2016, by Yangon-based event organizer Style Plus H. Twenty-four candidates competed for the title, of whom a Yangon-based model, Nandar Lwin, was announced the winner. She was crowned by San Htate Htar Linn, Miss Grand Myanmar 2015 and later represented the country at the international competition, Miss Grand International 2016, held at the Westgate International Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States on 25 October, but got non-placement.
