Myles Nazem Amine (born 14 December 1996) is a freestyle and folkstyle wrestler who competes at 86 kilograms. Born in the United States, he represents San Marino internationally. He is a graduate of Detroit Catholic Central High School.
In folkstyle, Amine is a five-time NCAA Division I All-American and two-time Big Ten Conference Champion (four-time finalist) for the Michigan Wolverines. [2] Amine was the top-seeded 197-pound NCAA wrestler heading into the 2021 national championships, but finished third. [3] His paternal grandfather Nazem Amine was also a freestyle wrestler who competed for Lebanon at the 1960 Summer Olympics. [4]
In freestyle, Amine won bronze for San Marino at the 2020 Summer Olympics and claimed medals at the European Games and the European Championships. [5] [6] [7]
He won the gold medal in the 86 kg event at the 2022 Mediterranean Games held in Oran, Algeria. He competed in the 86 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. [8]
He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 86 kg event at the 2023 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. [9] As a result, he earned a quota place for San Marino for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France. [10]
In February 2024, he won the silver medal in the men's 86 kg event at the 2024 European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania. [11] In August 2024, he lost his bronze medal match in the men's freestyle 86 kg event at the Summer Olympics in Paris, France. [12]
He represents San Marino via citizenship passed through his maternal great-grandparents, Germano and Pierina Mularoni. [13]
Dániel Ligeti is an amateur Hungarian freestyle wrestler, who competes in the men's super heavyweight category. He won the bronze medal for his division at the 2011 European Wrestling Championships in Dortmund, Germany, and silver at the 2012 European Wrestling Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Ligeti stands 1.92 metres tall and weighs 115 kilograms (254 lb). He is also currently a member of TuS Adelhausen in Rheinfelden, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, and is coached by Istvan Gulyas from the national wrestling team.

Hassan Yazdani Charati is an Iranian freestyle wrestler. Yazdani is an Olympic and World Champion in freestyle wrestling in two weight categories. He became Olympic champion in the 74kg category at the 2016 Summer Olympics after defeating Russian wrestler Aniuar Geduev in the final. The following year he became World Champion at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in the Men's freestyle 86 kg category. He won his second world title at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan and third at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships in Norway.
Dauren Khalidovich Kurugliev is a Russian-born Greek freestyle wrestler, naturalized as a Greek citizen before competing in the Olympic Games Paris 2024. He is the 2019 European Games gold medalist, a 3x European champion and a 2024 Olympic bronze medalist.
Bekzod Makhamadzhonovich Abdurakhmonov is an Uzbekistani freestyle wrestler and mixed martial artist. He won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in Men's 70 kg Freestyle wrestling. At the 2016 Olympics he beat former gold medalist Jordan Burroughs of the United States 11–1, but lost in the bronze-medal match to Jabrayil Hasanov of Azerbaijan. Vasyl Mykhailov is a Ukrainian freestyle wrestler. He won one of the bronze medals in the 79 kg event at the 2022 World Wrestling Championships held in Belgrade, Serbia. Mykhailov represented Ukraine at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan and 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
