Khadzhimurad Magomedov (born 24 February 1974, Makhachkala, Dagestan ASSR) is a Russian wrestler and Olympic champion in Freestyle wrestling.
Magomedov competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta where he received a gold medal in Freestyle wrestling, the middleweight class. [1]
Magomedov also became world champion at the 2001 World Wrestling Championships. He won a silver medal in 1999, and in 2 other appearances, 1997 and 1998, he finished in 4th place. Other notable achievements include winning the European Championships in 1997 and the World Military Games in 1999.

Cross also competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics where he placed sixth. He had defeated the eventual winner and the two-time world champion Alejandro Puerto of Cuba in a previous tournament but lost 10–6 in round six of the elimination rounds.

He is widely considered as the greatest freestyle wrestler of all time. He currently is an acting State Duma Deputy from Dagestan.

Velikov won the 2006 World Championships in Guangzhou and came second in 2005 in Budapest. He came second at the European Championships in Varna in 2005 and third in Europe in Sofia in 2007. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens he came ninth.

Islam Kurbanovich Magomedov ; born 8 February 1991 in Makhachkala) is a Russian Greco-Roman wrestler of Dargin descent. He is a two-time Junior Greco-Roman World Champion and gold medalist at the 2015 Russian National Greco-Roman Wrestling Championships. On 12 June 2015 he won gold medal at the European Games 2015, defeating Ukrainian Dimitriy Timchenko in the final. In the same year Magomedov won bronze medal at the 2015 World Wrestling Championships. Magomedov is International Master of Sports in Greco-Roman Wrestling. He competed at 2016 Summer Olympics, but lost in the quarterfinals.
