NIILM University is a private university in Kaithal in the state of Haryana, India. NIILM University is recognized by University Grant Commission and Government of Haryana. NIILM University was initially proposed to be established by the NIILM Education Trust in Palwal in June 2009 but on 4 January 2010 the location was changed to Kaithal in the presentation to the government. [2] The university was established in 2011 through The Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2011. [3]

Haryana is an Indian state located in the northern part of the country. It was carved out of the former state of East Punjab on 1 November 1966 on a linguistic basis. Kaithal is a city and municipal council in the Kaithal district of the Indian state of Haryana. Kaithal was previously a part of Karnal district and later, Kurukshetra district until 1 November 1989, when it became the headquarters of the Kaithal. It shares a border with the Patiala district of state Punjab and the Kurukshetra, Jind and Karnal districts of Haryana. Kaithal district is situated in the North-West of the Haryana state. Its North-West boundaries, which include Guhla-Cheeka are attached to Punjab.

Sushant University, formerly Ansal University (AU) is a private university situated in Gurgaon, National Capital Region (NCR), India. It was established in 2012 through the Haryana Private Universities Act (Amendment) 2012, which also established MVN University and Baba Mastnath University. It was previously a private college affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, established in August 2000 under the Chiranjiv Charitable Trust. In 2020 it was renamed to its current name, under the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
Institute of National Importance (INI) is a status that may be conferred on a premier public higher education institution in India by an act of Parliament of India, an institution which "serves as a pivotal player in developing highly skilled personnel within the specified region of the country/state". Institutes of National Importance receive special recognition, higher autonomy and funding from the Government of India.
Randeep Singh Surjewala is an Indian politician from Haryana and a member of Indian National Congress party. He was an MLA in the Haryana state legislature until 2019 and a former minister. He held water supply and sanitation, parliamentary affairs, electronics and information technology, science and technology and public works as a minister in Haryana cabinet. In 2005, he was given the responsibility of Transport and Parliamentary Affairs and thus became the youngest minister in Haryana. He defeated Om Prakash Chautala in 1996 and 2005. As of December 2017, Surjewala is one of the official spokespersons of Indian National Congress party, and as of September 2021, is a General Secretary of the Indian National Congress and Party in-charge for Karnataka. In the biennial elections of the Rajya Sabha for the State of Rajasthan, held on 10 June 2022, Mr. Surjewala was elected as a Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, with his term to start on 5 July 2022.
Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) are centrally funded technical institutes located across India. They are a group of 25 interdisciplinary technology-based-engineering research institutions in India which are focused on information technology. It was established in 2012 by State Legislature under Haryana Private Universities Act 32 of 2006 (Amendment) Act 2010. MVNU is part of Modern Vidya Niketan Society, the managing body. It offers wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes.

Adi Badri, also Sri Sarasvati Udgam Tirath, is a tourist site of archaeological, religious and ecological significance in a forest area in the foothills of the Sivalik Hills in Bhabar area, situated in northern part of Yamunanagar district, of the north Indian state of Haryana. There are remains of many Buddhist stupas and monasteries, which are about 1500–2000 years old, and there is also a group of Hindu temples from the 9th century. Based on the multiple archaeological excavations undertaken here, archaeologists have sent the proposal to Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) to include this site in the list of protected heritage site. Several popular annual festivals are held here, including the five day long National Saraswati Festival in January, Adi Badri Akha Teej Mela in Vaisakh around April–May, week-long Adi Badri-Kapal Mochan Kartik Purnima religious mela around November.
PDM University is a co-educational private university from the state of Haryana, India. The university has its campus in Bahadurgarh, Delhi NCR. The University has been established by the Haryana State Legislature under the Haryana Private Universities Act No. 32 of 2006, as amended by the Haryana Private Universities (Amendment), Act, 2015 and notified in the Haryana Govt. Gazette (Extra) Notification No. Leg.2/2016, dated 14 January 2016. The University has also been recognised by UGC under section 2(f) of the UGC Act 1956. The University is established and managed by Prabhu Dayal Memorial Religious & Educational Association (PDMREA).

Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal is a university specialised in health sciences in Karnal, Haryana, India. It was established by Haryana Act No. 27 of 2016 and named University of Health Sciences, Karnal which was changed into Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhayaya University of Health Sciences, Karnal by an amendment act passed in 2018.

The university was established in 2016 by the Starex group through The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2016, which was passed in August 2016, making it the 20th private university to be established through The Haryana Private Universities Act, 2006.

World University of Design (WUD) is a private university located in Rajiv Gandhi Education City, Sonipat, Haryana, India. The university was established in 2018 through The Haryana Private Universities Act 2017 following the passing of the Bill in October 2017. It claims to be "India's first and only university dedicated to education in the creative domain".
