Black Flag is an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach,California. Initially called Panic,the band was established by Greg Ginn,the guitarist,primary songwriter,and sole continuous member through multiple personnel changes in the band. They are widely considered to be one of the first hardcore punk bands,as well as one of the pioneers of post-hardcore. After breaking up in 1986,Black Flag reunited in 2003 and again in 2013. The second reunion lasted well over a year,during which they released their first studio album in nearly three decades,What The... (2013). The band announced their third reunion in January 2019.
The Misfits are an American punk rock band often recognized as the pioneers of the horror punk subgenre,blending punk and other musical influences with horror film themes and imagery. The group was founded in 1977 in Lodi,New Jersey,by vocalist,songwriter and keyboardist Glenn Danzig. Over the next six years,Danzig and bassist Jerry Only were the group's main members through numerous personnel changes. During this period,they released several EPs and singles,and with Only's brother Doyle as guitarist,the albums Walk Among Us (1982) and Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood (1983),both considered touchstones of the early-1980s hardcore punk movement. The band has gone through many lineup changes over the years,with bassist Jerry Only being the only constant member in the group.

Raw Power is the third studio album by American rock band the Stooges,released on February 7,1973 by Columbia Records. The album departed from the "groove-ridden,feel-based songs" of the band's first two records in favor of a more anthemic hard rock approach inspired by new guitarist James Williamson,who co-wrote the album's eight songs with singer Iggy Pop. Pop produced the recording sessions himself and David Bowie assisted with post-production work,though the team were allotted only one day to mix the album and the resulting fidelity was poor. They released 11 albums,including a collaborative album with Jello Biafra,and numerous EPs and singles. Critic Martin Popoff described their music as "the mightiest merger between the hateful aggression of punk and the discipline of heavy metal." Nomeansno's distinct hardcore punk sound,complex instrumentation,and dark,"savagely intelligent" lyrics inspired subsequent musicians. They were a formative influence on punk jazz,post-hardcore,math rock,and emo.

The Hard-Ons are an Australian punk rock band,which formed in 1982 in Punchbowl,New South Wales. Its founding members were Keish de Silva on lead vocals and drums,Peter "Blackie" Black on guitar and backing vocals,and Ray Ahn on bass guitar. The band issued five studio albums prior to their disbandment in 1994. The band reformed in 1997. In 2002,de Silva announced his departure from the band. He was replaced on drums by Front End Loader's Peter Kostic,while Black took over on lead vocals. Kostic was later replaced in turn by Conation drummer Murray Ruse in 2011. de Silva returned as a guest vocalist in 2014,and permanently rejoined the band in 2016. This version of the band would stay together for a further five years and one studio album,prior to de Silva's second departure in 2021. You Am I frontman Tim Rogers has since taken over as the band's lead vocalist.

Come In and Burn is the fifth full-length studio album by the Rollins Band. Released in 1997 on DreamWorks Records,it is their major label debut. It is also the last album before vocalist Henry Rollins dissolved the band's "classic" lineup of guitarist Chris Haskett,bassist Melvin Gibbs,drummer Sim Cain and sound technician Theo Van Rock. Rollins later formed a new version of Rollins Band with musicians from Mother Superior,who provided his backing band from 1998 until 2006,when the classic Rollins Band lineup briefly reunited.
"Train Kept A-Rollin'" is a song first recorded by American jazz and rhythm and blues musician Tiny Bradshaw in 1951. Originally performed in the style of a jump blues,Bradshaw borrowed lyrics from an earlier song and set them to an upbeat shuffle arrangement that inspired other musicians to perform and record it. Johnny Burnette and the Rock and Roll Trio made an important contribution in 1956 –they reworked it as a guitar riff-driven song,which features an early use of intentionally distorted guitar in rock music.

F-Punk is a studio album by Mick Jones' post-Clash band Big Audio Dynamite,released in 1995. It was the first album to be released under the name of Big Audio Dynamite since 1989's Megatop Phoenix. The title is a pun on the funk group P-Funk,and is supposed to imply "Fuck punk." The album cover lettering takes influence from London Calling,one of Mick Jones' albums with The Clash,which in turn was a copy of Elvis Presley's debut album.

The title of the album refers to The Dead Boys album We Have Come for Your Children.
