Nicole Elizabeth Huber Vera, simply known as Nicole Huber (born July 2, 1990) is a Paraguayan model and beauty queen who won the title of Miss World Paraguay 2011 during the 2011 Miss Paraguay pageant, [1] and later Miss International Paraguay 2012 during the 2012 Miss Paraguay pageant.

The Miss Universo Paraguay 2011 pageant was held on June 23, 2011. Yohana Benítez, Miss Universo Paraguay 2010; Egni Eckert, Miss Mundo Paraguay 2010; and María José Paredes, Miss Internacional Paraguay 2010, crowned her successors Alba Riquelme, Nicole Huber and Stephanía Vázquez at the end of the event. The winners have the right to represent Paraguay in the 3 major international beauty pageants, Miss Universe 2011, Miss World 2011 and Miss International 2011. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo.

The Miss Universo Paraguay 2012 pageant was held on May 18, 2012. Alba Riquelme, Miss Universo Paraguay 2011, crowned her successor Egny Eckert at the end of the event; she was the Paraguayan candidate for the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Elected to represent Paraguay at Miss World 2012 was Fiorella Migiore, for Miss International 2012 was Nicole Huber, and for Miss Earth 2012 was Alexandra Fretes. The pageant was broadcast live on Telefuturo.

Miss Paraguay 2011

Huber, a student of interior design, won the crown of Miss Mundo Paraguay. She is 1.75 m tall and competed in the 61st Miss World pageant held in London, England, in November.

Miss World 2011

Huber represented her country in the Miss World 2011 pageant which was held in London, England, on November 6, where she finished as Top 20 qualifiers (16th place overall).

Miss World 2011 beauty pageant edition

Miss World 2011, the 61st edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 6 November 2011 at the Earls Court Two in London, United Kingdom. As part of the events, the contestants also travelled to Edinburgh, Scotland between 23 and 27 October. Alexandria Mills of the United States crowned her successor Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela at the end of the event, she is the sixth Venezuelan women to win Miss World. Although over 120 delegates were expected to compete, problems regarding the timely acquisition of visas prevented several candidates from participating, thus reducing the final number to 113. Miss World 2011 was viewed by over 1 billion people worldwide.

Later, Huber was chosen to represent her country at Miss Earth 2011 after the original representative, Alexandra Fretes couldn't make it, she finished in Top 16 semifinals at Miss Earth coronation night, held at University of the Philippines Theater, Quezon City, in the Philippines on December 3, 2011.

Miss Earth 2011

Miss Earth 2011 was held on 3 December 2011 at the University of the Philippines Theater, inside the campus of the University of the Philippines Diliman in Quezon City, Philippines. The show was aired live by Channel V at 8:00 pm, while Star World broadcast on Sunday, 4 December at 6:00 pm, ABS-CBN and Studio 23 broadcast on the same day at 10:30 pm. There was also a delayed telecast of the show on The Filipino Channel and on the television stations of other participating countries.

Quezon City is a highly urbanized city and the most populous city in the Philippines. It was founded by and named after Manuel L. Quezon, the 2nd President of the Philippines, to replace Manila as the national capital. The city was proclaimed as such in 1948, though a significant number of government buildings have remained in Manila. Quezon City held status as the official capital until 1976 when a presidential decree was issued to reinstate and designate Manila as the capital and Metro Manila as the seat of government.

Miss International 2012

Nicole Huber won the title of Miss International Paraguay 2012 during the 2012 Miss Paraguay pageant and represented her country in Miss International 2012, held in Okinawa, Japan and ended up as 4th Runner-up at the end of the event.

Miss International 2012 beauty pageant edition

Miss International 2012, the 52nd Miss International pageant, was held on October 21, 2012 at Okinawa Prefectural Budokan Arena Building in Okinawa, Japan. Fernanda Cornejo from Ecuador crowned her successor Ikumi Yoshimatsu from Japan at the end of the event.

Nelly Alexandra Kamwelu is a Tanzanian model and beauty queen who won the Miss Universe Tanzania and Miss Southern Africa International titles in 2011.She represented her country in Miss Universe 2011 in São Paulo, Brazil, Miss International 2011 in China, Miss Earth 2011 in Manila, Philippines, and Miss Tourism Queen International in China.

Binibining Pilipinas 2012

Binibining Pilipinas 2012, the 49th edition of Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI), was held on April 15, 2012 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. Thirty ladies competed for the three titles: Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Tourism. The Miss Universe Philippines winner will compete in Miss Universe 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada; Binibining Pilipinas International will compete in Miss International 2012 in Okinawa, Japan, and Binibining Pilipinas Tourism will compete in Miss Tourism Queen International 2012 in China. The 1st runner-up is appointed to represent the country at Miss Supranational 2012 in Sopot, Poland wherein she placed as 3rd Runner- up.

Binibining Pilipinas 2013 beauty pageant edition

Binibining Pilipinas 2013, the 50th edition of Binibining Pilipinas pageant billed as Binibining Pilipinas Gold, was held on April 14, 2013 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. Fifty candidates participated in the 2013 pageant, which was aired by ABS-CBN and The Filipino Channel.

The Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2013 pageant was held at the Yacht & Golf Club Paraguayo on June 27, 2013 to select Paraguayan representatives to the 4 major beauty pageants. Egny Eckert, Miss Universe Paraguay 2012, Fiorella Migiore, Miss World Paraguay 2012, Nicole Huber, Miss International Paraguay 2012, and Alexandra Fretes, Miss Earth Paraguay 2012, crowned their successors, Guadalupe Gonzalez, Coral Ruiz, Marta Raviolo and Karen Duarte, respectively. This is the first time that the pageant was broadcast on LaTele, with new franchises holders, Salvador Mass and Isabel Mussi, and with a new name, 'Nuestra Belleza'.

Miss World 2014, the 64th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 14 December 2014 at the ExCeL London in London, United Kingdom. 121 contestants competed for the crown. Megan Young of the Philippines crowned her successor Rolene Strauss of South Africa at the end of the event. This is the second time that South Africa has won the title outright and the third time they have held the title.

Esonica Veira United States Virgin Islands model

Esonica Veira is a Virgin Islander model and beauty queen who won the title of Miss Universe US Virgin Islands 2017 and represented the US Virgin Islands at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant on November 26, 2017 in Las Vegas. Esonica was also appointed to be her territory's representative for Miss Earth 2014. Prior to joining Miss Earth, Esonica already represented her country in the Miss World 2011 pageant held in London, UK. After her Miss World participation, she was once again selected to compete in Miss Supranational 2013 in Minsk, Belarus.

Akisha Albert is a Curaçaoan beauty pageant titleholder who represented Curaçao in Reina Hispanoamericana where she placed as first runner-up. As the winner of the 2018 Miss Universe Curaçao pageant she also represented the island at Miss Universe 2018 finishing in the top 10.

Myriam Carolina Arévalos Villalba is a Paraguayan model and beauty pageant titleholder who after being crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay at the Nuestra Belleza Paraguay 2014 pageant represented her country at the Miss World 2014 pageant held in London. She also represented Paraguay at Miss Universe 2015 held in Las Vegas.

Binibining Pilipinas 2016, the 53rd edition of Binibining Pilipinas, was held on April 17, 2016 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City, Philippines. There were six titles awarded to participate internationally and two runner-up positions. Pia Wurtzbach crowned Maria Mika Maxine Perez Medina as Miss Universe Philippines 2016 while Janicel Lubina crowned Kylie Fausto Verzosa as Binibining Pilipinas International 2016. The pageant also awarded four other titles to participate in minor international beauty pageants in which Christi McGarry crowned Jennifer Alviar Hammond as Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental 2016, Rogelie Catacutan crowned Joanna Louise Deapera Eden as Binibining Pilipinas Supranational 2016, Parul Shah crowned Nicole Ignacio Cordoves as Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2016, and Ann Lorraine Colis crowned Nichole Marie Ramos Manalo as Binibining Pilipinas Globe 2016 as their successors at the end of the event. Completing the court were, Angelica Recto Alita, 20, first runner-up; and Jehza Mae Sotillo Huelar, 20, second runner-up.

The Miss Universo Paraguay 2016 pageant was held at AwA Resort on October 1, 2016, to select Paraguayan representatives to 3 major beauty pageants: Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Supranational. It was broadcast live on SNT.
For the first time in the history of this pageant, the event was held in Encarnación City, 365 km away from the Paraguayan capital.

Josephine Tan Yee Mei is a Malaysian model and a beauty pageant titleholder. In 2016, she became the first ever Malaysian to win Supermodel International.
