New Order are an English rock band formed in Salford, England in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Bernard Sumner, bassist Peter Hook, and drummer Stephen Morris. Their fusion of post-punk, electronic and dance music made them one of the most acclaimed and influential bands of the 1980s. The band regrouped after their previous band, Joy Division, disbanded following the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. Keyboardist Gillian Gilbert joined them later that year. They became the flagship band for Manchester-based independent record label Factory Records and its nightclub, The Haçienda, and worked in long-term collaboration with graphic designer Peter Saville.
Substance is a compilation album by English alternative dance band New Order. It was released in August 1987 by Factory Records. The album compiles all of the band's singles at that point in their 12-inch versions, along with their respective B-side tracks. The then-newly released non-album single "True Faith" is also featured, along with its B-side "1963" and new versions of "Temptation" and "Confusion".
The Best of New Order is a greatest hits album by English band New Order. It was released in the United Kingdom on 21 November 1994 by London Records and, with a different track listing, in the United States on 14 March 1995 by Qwest Records and Warner Bros. Records. Like Republic, the band's most recent studio album at the time, the cover and liner notes stylise the group's name as one word (NewOrder) instead of the usual New Order.

While Substance 1987 aimed to showcase New Order's 12-inch singles, Singles instead features mostly seven-inch versions, some of which are rare and differ from the album versions.

New Order Story is a 1993 documentary about the English band New Order, featuring the majority of their music videos, as well as interviews with the band members, their manager Rob Gretton, producers, etc. It also features appearances from Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant, U2's Bono, Quincy Jones and Jon Savage. Written by Paul Morley, and directed by Kevin Hewitt, the film offers sometimes an eccentric setting. Though it's not visible in the documentary, the band was filmed at the brink of their separation that would last for five years.
BBC Radio 1 Live in Concert is a live album by the English band New Order. The album is an edited recording of the band's headline performance at Glastonbury CND Festival '87. It was first released as a live album in 1992. The live album charted at number thirty-three on the UK Albums Chart and was certified as Silver by the BPI. The live album received mixed reviews and was first released as an LP, CD and Cassette in February 1992. The live album was released in June 2000 with new artwork by The Peter Saville Studio with photography by Jon Wozencroft. The original sleeve was designed by Mental Block.
Live in Glasgow is a live DVD by English band New Order, which was released in 2008. It features 18 tracks, recorded in October 2006 at the O2 Academy Glasgow. A second disc is also included which features tracks recorded live from the early days called Rare and Unseen Footage.
Total: From Joy Division to New Order is a compilation album of material from the British bands Joy Division and New Order. It was released in the United Kingdom on 6 June 2011 by Rhino Entertainment and is the first album to feature songs from both bands in one album. It features five Joy Division tracks, including "Love Will Tear Us Apart", and thirteen New Order tracks, including a previously unreleased track, "Hellbent". A digital deluxe version also includes music videos.
Fall to Grace is the second studio album by English singer Paloma Faith, released on 28 May 2012 by RCA Records. She worked on the album with producer Nellee Hooper, who previously worked with artists such as Madonna, Björk, Massive Attack, and Gwen Stefani. New Order 511 is a live DVD released by New Order, in 2002 by Warner Music Vision. It features 16 tracks, recorded on 9 June 2002, at Finsbury Park, London. Five of the 16 tracks are Joy Division songs, and 11 of them are New Order songs, hence the title. Participating in the concert are Phil Cunningham, who provided guitar and keyboards, John Simm and backing vocalist Dawn Zee.
New Order 316 is a live DVD released by New Order, in 2001 by Warner Music Vision and London Records. It consists of two concerts. The first took place on 18 November 1981 at the Ukrainian National Home in the East Village of New York City, and features 9 tracks. The second took place at the Reading Festival on 30 August 1998, and features 11 tracks. The DVD title is derived from the combined set list of 3 Joy Division and 16 New Order tracks.
Live at Bestival 2012 is a live album by English band New Order, recorded in September 2012 at Bestival 2012, which was held at Robin Hill, Isle of Wight, England. It was released via Sunday Best on 8 July 2013.
John Trevor Key was a British photographer and designer, best known for his work for musical artists of the 1970s and 1980s. One of his best-known covers was for Mike Oldfield's 1973 debut album Tubular Bells. Other artists that he produced cover artwork for include Joy Division, the Sex Pistols, Phil Collins, Roxy Music, Wham!, Can, China Crisis, System 7, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, and New Order.
The Roskilde Festival 2016 was held on 25 June to 2 July 2016 in Roskilde, Denmark. The festival was headlined by LCD Soundsystem, Tame Impala, PJ Harvey, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Wiz Khalifa, MØ, Tenacious D, New Order, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Neil Young + Promise of the Real.
