Nuwakot is a small town in Arghakhanchi District in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 6,127 and had 1158 houses in the town. [1]

Mahottari District, a part of Province No. 2, is one of the seventy-seven districts of Nepal.
