Odda Rutebuss AS is a bus company that operates in Odda, Norway. Founded in the 1924, it operates 11 buses with 16 employees, transporting 250,000 passengers per year. [1] In 2008 it lost the public service obligation tender for Odda to Tide Buss, after which Odda Rutebuss remains only as a charter operator. [2]

Odda is a former municipality in the old Hordaland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1913 until its dissolution in 2020 when it was merged into Ullensvang Municipality. It was located in southeastern Hordaland county, surrounding the southern end of the Sørfjorden. The administrative centre was the town of Odda, which was also the main commercial and economic centre of the entire Hardanger region. Other villages in the municipality included Botnen, Eitrheim, Håra, Røldal, Seljestad, Skare, and Tyssedal.
Ullensvang is a municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Hardanger. The administrative centre is the town of Odda. Carl Berners plass is an underground rapid transit station located on the Grorud Line of the Oslo Metro, and a tram stop on the Sinsen Line of the Oslo Tramway. The square also has a bus stop for lines 20, 21, 31 and 33. Located at Helsfyr in Oslo, Norway, the area has a mixture of apartment buildings and small businesses. The station is the first metro station on the Grorud Line after it branches off from the shared Common Tunnel. North of the station, the Ring Line branches off from the Grorud Line. The station is served by line 5 of the metro and Line 17 of the tramway, with four hourly departures during regular hours. The tram operates every 10 minutes during regular hours.
Holmavatnet is a lake the Setesdalsheiene mountains of Southern Norway. It is located on the border of the municipalities of Suldal, Vinje, and a small part in Bykle. The southeastern corner of the lake is in Bykle, and it is the northernmost part of all of Aust-Agder county. The lake Skyvatn is located about 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) to the south of the lake.
Veivatnet is a lake in the municipality of Ullensvang in Vestland county, Norway. The 4.64-square-kilometre (1.79 sq mi) lake lies on the vast Hardangervidda plateau, inside Hardangervidda National Park. It is located about 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) southeast of the village of Lofthus and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northeast of the town of Odda.
Sandvinvatnet is a lake in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The 4.3-square-kilometre (1.7 sq mi) lake lies on the southern edge of the town of Odda. The Buerdalen valley and Buarbreen glacier lie to the east of the lake. The Norwegian National Road 13 runs along the east side of the lake. The lake water flows north into the short river Opo, before entering the Sørfjorden.
The Thamshavn Line was Norway's first electric railway, running from 1908 to 1974 in what is now Trøndelag county. Today it is operated as a heritage railway and is the world's oldest railway running on its original alternating current electrification scheme, using 6.6 kV 25 Hz AC. It was built to transport pyrites from the mines at Løkken Verk to the port at Thamshavn, as well as passengers. There were six stations: Thamshavn, Orkanger, Bårdshaug, Fannrem, Solbusøy and Svorkmo. The tracks were extended to Løkken Verk in 1910.
Trondheim Central Station or Trondheim S is the main railway station serving the city of Trondheim, Norway. Located at Brattøra in the north part of the city centre, it is the terminus of the Dovre Line, running southwards, and the Nordland Line, which runs north. The railway is electrified south of the station but not north of it, so through trains must change locomotives at the station.

Langavatnet is a lake in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. The 6.19-square-kilometre (2.39 sq mi) lake lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) straight east of the town of Odda. The lake has a dam at the north end to regulate the water level for the purposes of hydroelectric power generation. The water of the lake previously flowed north to create the large Ringedalsfossen waterfall which now only flows when the lake gets too full. The water flows over the falls into the lake Ringedalsvatnet before flowing through the short river Tysso which empties into the Sørfjorden.

The Tyssedal Power Station is a hydroelectric power station and museum located in Tyssedal in the municipality Odda in Vestland, Norway. The station was designed by architect Thorvald Astrup. It started production in 1906 and operated at a combined installed capacity of 100 MW from 1918, with an average annual production of 700 GWh. The plant was protected by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage in 2000, and is part of the Norwegian Museum of Hydropower and Industry. The power station was added to the list of priority technical and industrial cultural heritage by the Norwegian Directorate for Cultural Heritage.
Odda Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ullensvang Municipality in Vestland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Odda. It is the church for the Odda parish which is part of the Hardanger og Voss prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Bjørgvin. The off-white, wooden church was built in a long church style in 1870 using designs by the architect C. Erichsen. The church seats about 500 people.
