BorgBuss was a bus company that operated in Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg and Hvaler, Norway between 2004 and 2013. [1] The company itself was founded in 1998 and is still existing, but has no operations anymore. The company is owned 100% by Nettbuss. [2]

The company operated the municipal parts of the Trondheim Tramway until it was merged with A/S Graakalbanen and Trondheim Bilruter to create Trondheim Trafikkselskap. That company has become part of Nettbuss, the largest Norwegian bus company in Norway which is owned by Norwegian State Railways.

Telemark Kollektivtrafikk was a Norwegian bus company that operated the city buses in Grenland, Telemark. The company held a public service obligation (PSO) contract with the County of Telemark for city buses in Porsgrunn and Skien.

Stor-Oslo Lokaltrafikk AS or SL was the public transport administration for bus and ferry transport in Akershus, Norway from 1973 to 2007. SL was organised as a limited company owned by the Akershus county municipality, the City of Oslo, and the Norwegian Ministry of Transport and Communications, with a third each. The company planned, marketed and organised the public transport in Akershus but did not operate any buses or ferries. Instead, it issued contracts to operating companies based on public service obligations (OPS).

The company was created in 2002 when Nettbuss Helgeland merged with the bus division of Saltens Bilruter. The company is owned 34% by Nettbuss and 66% by Saltens Bilruter AS. The company operates bus routes in Northern Helgeland and in Salten on contract with the Nordland County Council.

Risør og Tvedestrand Bilruter was a Norwegian bus company that operated in the eastern parts of Agder on contract with the county administration of Aust-Agder. In 2007, the company had 36 buses and 85 employees, and was owned by the municipalities of Risør, Tvedestrand, Vegårshei and Gjerstad, where the bus company had most of its routes. Along with Setesdal Bilruter it bought Høvågruta in 2002.

Sør-Trøndelag County Municipality County in Norway

Sør-Trøndelag County Municipality was the regional governing administration of the old Sør-Trøndelag county in Norway until 1 January 2018 when it merged with Nord-Trøndelag county to form the new Trøndelag county. The main responsibilities of the county municipality included the running of 25 upper secondary schools. It administered the county roadways, public transport, dental care, culture, and cultural heritage.

Ruter AS is the public transport authority for Oslo and Akershus counties in Norway. Formally a limited company – 60% of its shares are owned by the Oslo county municipality and 40% by that of Akershus – it is responsible for the administration, funding, and marketing of public transport in the two counties, including buses, the Oslo Metro, Oslo Trams, and ferry services. Vy bus4you, formerly Nettbuss Bus4You, is a Swedish long distance bus brand that began operations in 2007, in competition with Swebus Express. The service is operated by Vy Travel, a Swedish subsidiary of Norwegian bus operator Vy Buss.

t:kort is a digital ticket used for travel with public transport in Trøndelag, Norway. After its implementation in 2008, t:kort is the only valid ticketing system in the area, valid on bus, coach, tram and ferry transport as well as the Trøndelag Commuter Rail. The ticket is the size of a credit card, and can be charged monthly or as individual tickets.

Østfold Kollektivtrafikk is a county agency responsible for administrating public transport in Østfold, Norway. Created on 1 June 2002 and subordinate Østfold county municipality, it is responsible for route planning, purchase of transport from operators, marketing, customer information related to public transport, as well as issuing permits for taxi, bus and truck transport. Train traffic, which is operated by Vy, is not included in the responsibilities of Østfold Kollektivtrafikk.

Tromsbuss

Tromsbuss AS was a bus company with operations in Tromsø, Karlsøy and Balsfjord, Norway, on contract with Troms county municipality. The company was a subsidiary of TIRB, that is controlled by Hurtigruten Group. In 2008, Tromsbuss was merged with TIRB and Ofotens Bilruter to form Cominor.

Øst-Telemark Automobilselskap AS (ØTA) is a defunct bus company based in Notodden, Norway. It was taken over by NSB Biltrafikk on 1 May 1998, and was renamed Nettbuss Telemark AS in 2000. In 2005 it was merged into Nettbuss Drammen.

The Volvo 7000, later Volvo 7700, was an integrally-constructed fully low-floor single-decker rigid bus and single-decker articulated bus built by Volvo between 1999 and 2012. It was generally available as 12-metre and 18-metre on both diesel and CNG, and from 2010 as a 12-metre hybrid electric. A trolleybus version has also been built.

The Volvo 7900 is an integrally-constructed single-decker rigid bus and single-decker articulated bus, most commonly available as a hybrid electric bus named Volvo 7900 Hybrid or just Volvo 7900H, but is also available with both diesel and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engines in some markets. It is manufactured at Volvo's plant in Poland. It was introduced at Busworld Kortrijk 2011. Based on the Volvo 7900 Hybrid an extension is offered, which i.a. includes a roof-mounted device for occasional loading at stops. The manufacturer assumes that all buses at all end stations and also at some particularly busy stations stay a few minutes until the return or onward journey. As soon as a bus reaches an appropriately equipped stop, a loading unit attached to a pillar at the roadside lowers onto the coupling point mounted on the roof of the bus. The charging process ends as soon as the bus wants to continue or the battery is full. According to the manufacturer, this equipment allows compared to conventional hybrid buses significantly extending the travel time in electric mode and a reduction in fuel consumption. The vehicle and the charging system were first presented to the public in September 2014 at the International Motor Show.

Trøndelag County Municipality County in Norway

Trøndelag County Municipality is the democratically elected regional governing administration of Trøndelag county in Norway. The main responsibilities of the county municipality includes the running of 36 upper secondary schools, with 17,000 pupils. It administers thousands of kilometers of county roadways, public transport, dental care, culture, and cultural heritage.

AtB Public transport authority of Trøndelag, Norway

AtB AS is a public transport manager for Trøndelag and is managed as a corporation. AtB's task is to plan, order, market and develop public transport in the county. Tariffs are set by the county council as part of the budget process. AtB has three main sources of funding: Ticket revenues, grants from the Trøndelag County Municipality and the Environmental Package. AtB has a customer center at Prinsens Gate 41 right beside the bus stop Prinsens Gate P2 in Trondheim. AtB took over as public transport manager for bus traffic in Trondheim in 2010, tram traffic on Gråkallbanen and other bus traffic in Sør-Trøndelag in 2011, speedboat routes in 2012 and 2014, ferries in 2015, and in 2018, the former Nord-Trøndelag was also incorporated after the two counties was merged into the new county of Trøndelag.
