Nordlandsbuss AS, trading as SB Nordlandsbuss, is a Norwegian bus company that operates in Nordland. The company was created in 2002 when Nettbuss Helgeland merged with the bus division of Saltens Bilruter. The company is owned 34% by Nettbuss and 66% by Saltens Bilruter AS. The company operates bus routes in Northern Helgeland and in Salten on contract with the Nordland County Council.

In 2006, Nordlandsbuss won the first public service obligation contract for bus transport in Nordland, around Sandnessjøen. In 2008, it won a tender contract with Nordland County Municipality for the first tender operations in Bodø and Steigen. [1] The company has headquarters in Bodø and offices in Mo i Rana, Mosjøen and Sandnessjøen. SB Nordlandsbuss has 200 buses and 330 employees.

Brønnøysund Airport, Brønnøy is a regional airport located at the town of Brønnøysund, in the municipality of Brønnøy, Nordland county, Norway. The airport is owned and operated by the state-owned Avinor and serves the southern part of Helgeland. It has a 1,200-by-30-meter runway numbered 04–22 and is served by Widerøe, which operates their Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft to Oslo, Trondheim, Bodø, Bergen and other airports in Helgeland. The airport also serves offshore helicopter flights by CHC Helikopter Service to Norne and temporary oil rigs in the Norwegian Sea. In 2014, the airport served 117,471 passengers, making it the second-busiest regional airport in Norway, after Florø Airport.

Along with Setesdal Bilruter it bought Høvågruta in 2002.

Opplandstrafikk is the public transport administration for bus transport in Oppland, Norway and is part of the central administration of the Oppland County Municipality. The unit plans, markets and organises the public transport in Oppland, but does not operate any buses itself. Instead it issues contracts to operating companies based on negotiated contracts or public service obligation. Bodø is a town in Bodø Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. The town is the administrative centre of Bodø Municipality and of Nordland county. It is located on the Bodø peninsula between the Vestfjorden and the Saltfjorden. Bodø is located just north of the Arctic Circle. It is the largest urban area and town in Nordland county and it is the second-largest town in Northern Norway.
