BigBang is a South Korean boy band formed by YG Entertainment. The group consists of three members: G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung. Originally a five-piece band, Seungri retired from the entertainment industry in March 2019 and T.O.P left in May 2023. Dubbed the "Kings of K-pop", they helped spread the Korean Wave internationally and are considered one of the most influential acts in K-pop. Dong Young-bae, better known by his stage name Taeyang or SOL, is a South Korean singer. He made his debut in 2006 as a member of the South Korean boy band BigBang. Following the release of several albums and extended plays with his group, Taeyang pursued a solo career in 2008, releasing his first extended play, Hot. The EP was acclaimed by critics and went to win the award for Best R&B & Soul Album at the 6th Korean Music Awards. Hot was followed by his first full-length studio album Solar (2010), which was released in July 2010 and peaked atop the Gaon Album Chart.

<i>GD & TOP</i> (album) 2010 studio album by GD & TOP

GD&TOP is the debut album of South Korean hip-hop duo GD & TOP, members of Big Bang. Released on December 24, 2010, the album marks the first official collaboration between the two artists. The duo promoted the album extensively, including a worldwide premiere showcase and numerous performances. Three singles were released for promotion: "High High", "Oh Yeah", and "Knockout". While "High High" went on to become a chart-topper, the latter two singles peaked at number 2 and 3 respectively.

<i>2NE1</i> (2011 EP) 2011 EP by 2NE1

2NE1 is the second eponymous extended play by South Korean girl group 2NE1. It was released on July 28, 2011, through YG Entertainment, in both physical and digital formats. It was distributed by KMP Holdings. 2NE1 2nd Mini Album, like its predecessors 2NE1 1st Mini Album (2009) and To Anyone (2010), was primarily written and produced by Teddy Park, with additional songwriting contributions from Kush and Lydia Paek. The EP was re-released as the group's debut Japanese record titled Nolza on September 21, 2011, under YGEX.

<i>Alive</i> (BigBang EP) 2012 EP by Big Bang

Alive is the fifth Korean extended play by South Korean boy group Big Bang, released through YG Entertainment on February 29, 2012. Musically, it is a dance and electronic record that incorporates elements of hip hop and R&B. BigBang members G-Dragon and T.O.P wrote and produced the lyrics and music for nearly all tracks on the album. Alive spawned three digital singles that were released within the week prior—"Blue", "Fantastic Baby", and "Bad Boy", all three of which peaked within the top three positions on the Gaon Digital Chart.

"Monster" is a song recorded by South Korean group Big Bang. It was released on June 3, 2012, by YG Entertainment as the only single from the repackaged version of their extended play Alive, Still Alive. The song was written by group members G-Dragon and T.O.P, and composed by the previous with Choi Pil-kang. "Monster" peaked atop South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart and reached the Top 10 on the Japan Hot 100.

Coup d'Etat is the second studio album by South Korean rapper G-Dragon, member and leader of the K-pop group Big Bang. The album was initially released on iTunes. The first five tracks of the album were released on September 2, 2013, the next seven tracks were released on September 5, and physical copies were released on September 13. The album contains the single "MichiGO" which was released earlier in 2013.

GD & TOP was a South Korean hip-hop/pop duo formed by G-Dragon and T.O.P, the rappers of the K-pop boy band Big Bang in 2010. The release of their first album, GD & TOP (2010) was a commercial success becoming one of the best selling albums of the year in South Korea, and spawning the top-five hits "High High", "Oh Yeah", and "Knock Out" on the Gaon Digital Chart. After a five-year hiatus, they released the single "Zutter", which peaked at number two on the Gaon Digital Chart.

GD X Taeyang is a South Korean duo from YG Entertainment, consisting of G-Dragon and Taeyang from Big Bang. Let's Talk About Love is the second extended play (EP) by Korean singer Seungri, member of Big Bang, on August 19, 2013 it was released as an EP in South Korea, while on October 9 of the same year a Japanese version was released with 14 tracks.

"Bullshit" is a song by South Korean rapper G-Dragon. It was released on June 8, 2017 through YG Entertainment as part of his second extended play (EP) Kwon Ji Yong. The song was co-produced by G-Dragon, Teddy Park, Cawlr, Future Bounce, and Choice37, with lyrics penned by G-Dragon. The track was originally slated to serve as the EP's title track, but was replaced with "Untitled, 2014" on the day of its release.

The song was well received by music critics, that considered it one of his best work and one of the most influential Korean hip hop tracks.
