Outlying Islands Ferry Pier (Chinese :港外線碼頭) refer to the ferry piers providing ferry service outside Victoria Harbour in Central, Hong Kong. It now refers to Central Piers No.2 to No.6, near International Finance Centre. The ferry routes travel between Central and Ma Wan (Park Island), Lantau Island (Discovery Bay and Mui Wo), Lamma Island (Sok Kwu Wan and Yung Shue Wan), Cheung Chau and Peng Chau. [1] [2]

Cheung Chau is an outlying island of Hong Kong, located 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Hong Kong Island. It is also called Dumbbell Island due to its dumbbell-like shape. It has been inhabited for longer than most other places in Hong Kong, and had a population of 22,740 as of 2011. Administratively, it is part of the Islands District.

Ma Wan is an island of Hong Kong, located between Lantau Island and Tsing Yi Island, with an area of 0.97 square kilometres. Administratively, it is part of Tsuen Wan District.
Yung Shue Wan is the main population centre on Lamma Island, Hong Kong. It has a population of approximately 6,000.

The company was established in November 1999, when it took over the eight licensed ferry routes transferred from Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry in January 2000.
The kai-to, sometimes kaito or kaido is a type of small, motorised ferry that operates in Hong Kong. They are usually used to serve remote coastal settlements in the territory's outlying islands.
Central is an MTR station located in the Central area of Hong Kong Island. The station's livery is firebrick red but brown on the Tsuen Wan line platforms. The station is the southern terminus of the Tsuen Wan line, a stop on the Island line, and connects to Hong Kong station, which serves the Tung Chung line and the Airport Express.

Sok Kwu Wan or Picnic Bay is a bay on the east coast of Lamma Island, Hong Kong. The bay has a cluster of seafood restaurants and village houses.
The Outlying Islands are all the islands that make up the territory of Hong Kong, with the exception of Hong Kong Island and some smaller islands near its coast. There are 263 islands over 500 m2 in Hong Kong, the vast majority of which are located within the New Territories, with significant numbers located in Islands District in the south and southwest, Sai Kung District in the southeast, and Tai Po District and North District in the northeast. The term "outlying" is not strictly defined and in some cases islands very close to Hong Kong Island and mainland China are not included.
Nim Shue Wan is the south facing bay on the south side of Discovery Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Nim Shue Wan Village (稔樹灣村) was a small fishing village but now has become a dormitory village for workers at nearby Discovery Bay.
The Central Ferry Piers are situated on the northeast part of Central, Hong Kong Island. The ferries mostly depart to Outlying Islands in the New Territories, with the exception of Pier 1 serving as a government pier, and ferries from piers 7 and 8 going to Kowloon.
Peng Chau Public Pier is a public pier in Peng Chau, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located in Wing On Side Street and next to Peng Chau Ferry Pier. The old pier was built in 1955 and replaced by the new one in 2004. The pier is mainly for loading and unloading of goods, and running kai-to operation between Peng Chau and Nim Shue Wan in Discovery Bay via Trappist Haven Monastery on Lantau Island.

One is the service between Peng Chau and Central, operated by Hong Kong & Kowloon Ferry. The other is the "Inter-Island" service among Peng Chau, Lantau Island and Cheung Chau, operated by Sun Ferry.
Cheung Chau Ferry Pier serves the island of Cheung Chau, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located on Praya Street within the Cheung Chau Typhoon Shelter.
Silvermine Bay Ferry Pier or Mui Wo Ferry Pier is a ferry pier located on the waterfront of Silver Mine Bay in Mui Wo Ferry Pier Road, Mui Wo, New Territories, Hong Kong. There are two ferry routes provided in the pier. One is the service between Mui Wo and Central, operated by Sun Ferry. Another one is the "Inter-Island" service among Peng Chau, Lantau Island and Cheung Chau, also operated by the same operator.
Yung Shue Wan Ferry Pier is a ferry pier located on the waterfront of Yung Shue Wan in Yung Shue Wan Main Street, Lamma Island, Hong Kong. There are two ferry routes provided in the pier. One is the service between Yung Shue Wan and Central, operated by Hong Kong & Kowloon Ferry. Another one is the service between Yung Shue Wan and Aberdeen via Pak Kok Tsuen, operated by Tsui Wah Ferry.
