Party-list Coalition Foundation, Inc. (PCFI), also known as the Party-list Coalition, [1] is a coalition of representatives of political organizations with party-list representation in the House of Representatives, the lower house of the bicameral Congress of the Philippines.
The organization was founded in 2014 and is registered as a corporation with the Securities and Exchange Commission. [2]
The Coalition are currently aligned with National Unity Party.
Shortly prior to the start of the 17th Congress, the PCFI expressed support for then-President presumptive Rodrigo Duterte and his preferred candidate for the position of House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez [3] who was later elected to the position by his fellow legislators and served until 2018 when he was succeeded by Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
It held at least 32 positions within the House of Representatives in May 2019. [4]
In May 2019, the PCFI elected Mikee Romero of 1-Pacman Partylist as its leader. [5] The organization under Romero renewed calls for equal treatment of partylist representatives perceiving that district representatives were favored to serve in positions within the House of Representatives. [1] Among the 61 party-list representatives from 51 organizations, 54 seats belongs to PCFI affiliated legislators. The other legislators are affiliated to the Makabayan bloc and the Magdalo Partylist. [4]
The PCFI managed to secure commitment from 60 partylist legislators for the upcoming 19th Congress. The Makabayan bloc like in the previous Congress refused to affiliate with the PCFI. [6]

The Bagong Alyansang Makabayan or Bayan is an alliance of left-wing Philippine organizations. It was founded on International Workers' Day, May 1, 1985 as part of the opposition during the Marcos dictatorship.

Alan Peter Schramm Cayetano is a Filipino lawyer and diplomat serving as a Senator since 2022 and previously from 2007 to 2017. He was the Senate Minority Leader from 2010 to 2013, and later Senate Majority Leader from 2013 to 2016. He also served as the Representative of Taguig–Pateros from 1998 to 2007 and from 2019 to 2022 and was the Speaker of the House of Representatives from 2019 until his resignation in 2020. He also served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018 in the cabinet of President Rodrigo Duterte, after unsuccessfully running for vice president in the 2016 elections as Duterte's running mate.
Lakas–Christian Muslim Democrats, abbreviated as Lakas–CMD and also known simply as Lakas, is a political party in the Philippines. Lakas–CMD is considered to sit on the centre-right of the political spectrum, and is influenced by Christian democracy and Islamic democracy. Since the 2022 elections, Lakas–CMD is currently the biggest party in the House of Representatives, with the party's president, Martin Romualdez, serving as Speaker of the House. and the party is a dominant member of the UniTeam Alliance led by President Bongbong Marcos.

Kabataan, also known as the Kabataan Partylist and formerly known as Ang Nagkakaisang Kabataan Para sa Sambayanan, is a partylist in the Philippines affiliated with the leftist political coalition Makabayan. It is currently represented by Raoul Manuel at the Philippine Congress since 2022. According to its website, the partylist represents the youth sector, and aims to "galvanize the Filipino youth’s unity for social change," believing that the youth should "devote its intellect, energy, and courage to building a new society devoid of corruption, inequality, and social injustice."
The ACT Teachers Partylist is a political party representing teachers and education sector workers with a seat in the 15th and 16th Philippine Congress, and with two seats in the 17th Philippine Congress. It is represented in the 18th Philippine Congress by educator and trade union organizer France Castro. ACT Teachers Partylist is part of the left-wing Makabayan Bloc, and is known for its active campaign for salary hikes for teachers, successful tax reduction initiatives, optional poll service duty for teachers, and lowering of optional retirement age of public school teachers.
The 18th Congress of the Philippines, composed of the Philippine Senate and House of Representatives, met from July 22, 2019, until June 1, 2022, during the last three years of Rodrigo Duterte's presidency. A successful member of the religious organization Iglesia ni Cristo, Marcoleta is one of the vocal opponents against ABS-CBN and Meralco one of the 70 representatives who voted to permanently deny the franchise renewal of the network and 70 representatives who voted to permanently deny the franchise renewal of the electricity as well as responsible for the termination of ABS-CBN Meralco and TV5's landmark partnership deal. Marcoleta is also the host of Net 25 public affairs program, Sa Ganang Mamamayan.
