The Philippine Green Republican Party, commonly known as PGRP, is a political party in the Philippines.
In 2007, the party was accredited by the Commission on Elections and fielded Senate candidates who were later declared nuisance candidates. In 2010, they again fielded national candidates and local candidates including a presidential candidate, Felix Cantal. [1] He, together with their senatorial candidates were declared nuisance candidates. Local candidates from PGRP were however able to run in local positions in 11 provinces nationwide. However, all these candidates lost.
Many serious environmentalist and greens believe after analyzing the political agenda of the Philippine Green Republican Party that they do not share the basic green principles and agenda to merit being considered a serious and legitimate national green political party. They did not participate in the 2013 elections but they have participated in the 2016 presidential elections. They fielded Apolonia "Polly" Soguilon (as a substitute for the late Roy Señeres) and Diego Palomares as their standard bearers for the 2016 polls. [2]

The major coalitions that participated are the Koalisyon ng Katapatan at Karanasan sa Kinabukasan, composed of parties that support the candidacy of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, and the Koalisyon ng Nagkakaisang Pilipino, composed of parties that support the candidacy of film actor Fernando Poe Jr. coalition. The Alyansa ng Pag-asa was a minor coalition made up of Aksyon Demokratiko and Partido para sa Demokratikong Reporma–Lapiang Manggagawa. K4 won seven seats, while the KNP won the remaining five contested seats.

Roy Villareal Señeres was a Filipino politician and diplomat who initially ran in the 2016 Philippine presidential election under the Partido ng Manggagawa at Magsasaka party before withdrawing on February 5, 2016, three days before his death. He is the father of former congressman Christian Señeres.

Pederalismo ng Dugong Dakilang Samahan is a national political party in the Philippines accredited by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) on October 30, 2018. It was founded by Presidential Anti-Corruption (PACC) Chairman Greco Belgica. He says that the members are the original followers of Philippine president Rodrigo Duterte in the 2016 presidential election. The main thrust of the party is for federalism to be applied to the Philippines. The party sought accreditation from the Commission on Elections so that it can run candidates for the 2019 midterm election.
Reynaldo Villar Umali was a Filipino politician who served in the House of Representatives of the Philippines from 2010 to 2019 representing the 2nd district of Oriental Mindoro. He ran for governor of Oriental Mindoro during the 2019 Philippine gubernatorial elections but lost to Humerlito Dolor.
The Republican Party was a political party in the Philippines. It was founded by labour activist and writer Isabelo de los Reyes, whose leadership was shortly turned over to Gregorio Aglipay, the first Supreme Bishop of the Philippine Independent Church. Isabelo de los Reyes founded the party in 1905, with Gregorio Aglipay taking over the leadership shortly thereafter. Both were members of the Philippine Independent Church. The party was subsequently banned by the United States Insular Government after the 1907 elections. In the first ever nationwide at-large election held in the Philippines, the 1935 presidential election, Aglipay revived the Republican Party and was the last presidential candidate to announce his candidacy. The party was supported by the Coalition of the Oppressed Masses. This coalition originally included Emilio Aguinaldo and his National Socialist Party, but Aguinaldo split from the party and launched his own presidential campaign. Aglipay's party had connections with labor unions in Manila.
