The Philippine political arena is mainly arranged and operated by families or alliances of families, rather than being organized around political parties.

The Pwersa ng Masang Pilipino, formerly Partido ng Masang Pilipino, is a populist political party in the Philippines. It is the political party of former Philippine President Joseph E. Estrada. In the May 1998 presidential election, it aligned itself with other political parties to form the Laban ng Makabayang Masang Pilipino.

Michael Lopez Rama is a Filipino politician serving as Mayor of Cebu City since 2021, a position he previously held from 2010 to 2016. He served as the Vice Mayor of Cebu City from 2001 to 2010 and from 2019 to 2021, and was a member of the Cebu City Council from 1992 to 2001. He was elected the National President of the League of Cities of the Philippines in 2022.
Robert Vincent Jude "Dodot" Bautista Jaworski Jr. is a Filipino politician, businessman, and former basketball player who is the vice mayor of Pasig. He previously served as a member of House of Representatives representing the Lone District of Pasig from 2004 to 2007.

Juanito Victor "Jonvic" Catibayan Remulla Jr. is a Filipino politician serving as the governor of Cavite since 2019, previously holding the position from 2010 to 2016. He also previously served as the vice governor and as a member of the Cavite Provincial Board. He is a son of former governor Juanito Remulla Sr. and sibling of fellow politicians Gilbert and Jesus Crispin Remulla.
